Enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of busy Kuala Lumpur city and visit a beautiful limestone hill that has a series of caves and temples situated in Gombak – Batu Caves. Explore the culture and traditions of Malaysia and be amazed with the breathtaking city views on the top of the hill. Visit Royal Selangor Pewter factory to learn more about pewter making process and history. Move on to Melawati Hill and view the tropical flora and fauna, especially the silvered-leaf monkeys and long-tail macaques. We end the day trip cruising along the Kuala Selangor River watching the uniqueness and miracles fireflies flashing in the dark night. Batu Caves - A trip to the eastern suburbs of the city to observe the local way of life and traditional cottage industries. Make a short stop at the Royal Selangor Pewter factory and proceed towards the Batu Caves, a huge limestone outcrop housing an elaborate Hindu temple. The caves are a popular place of worship for Hindus and each year, during their auspicious celebration of Thaipusam, hundreds of thousands of Hindus throng the temple. The content was a fulfilling tour. However, after a trouble on the way, I felt very sorry because there was no apology from the company. I think the driver did his best, but I think the safety check should be done sufficiently. Although it was participation with children, my kids were very shocked by the experience of the day.

I think the Batu Cave is a bit disappointing but that isn't the fault of the tour. The guide took us to a place where there were loads of monkeys to feed which climbed all over us which was a real highlight of our holiday. The fireflies were incredible and I would definitely recommend making the trip to see them. very good value for money and a nice relaxed pace.

Fantastic tour with a really informative guide. The caves were not as stunning as some we have seen, however feeding the monkeys and seeing the fireflies was really great.
