  We booked our tour about an hour before it was advertised to start. We did call first to make sure that it was okay. They were able to pick us up at our resort despite the late reservation. The tour itself was fun. We all really enjoyed it. I thought there would be a lot more mud and water to drive through, but I was actually happy that it was less than expected. My wife, son and I took turns driving the dune buggy. It was nice to jump into the river near the end of the tour to wash off the mud. The crew and guides were friendly and accommodating.

  Fantastic morning seeing some of the real Dominican Republic and getting very muddy! I would really recommend this trip - it was the most fun things we did in our week away. We passed some other buggy groups and they didn’t look to be having half as much fun as we were. There were lots of staff on hand throughout the ride, which was reassuring. What you need to know: * Start to finish including transfers the trip is closer to 4.5 hours (depending on pick up location of course) * Do not wear anything you value or anything white. You could wear swimwear under your clothes if you wanted to swim in the Chavon but towels would get ruined. Expect to dry in the sun, which doesn’t take long. * Crocs/sliders/flip flops are probably the best footwear. Trainers will get ruined. * The bandanas they sell are actually Dominican Republic flags so double up as a souvenir * They take photos as you go round which are from a great angle you can’t get yourself - these are USD 30 or 1800 DOM

  I have to admit that it was a bit frightening turning into the facility, but our fears were quickly changed to excitement. The admission fee was very reasonable for the trip we had, and we were asked what language we spoke. The staff was awesome and very attentive to our needs. The village we drove through was very humbling, their kids excitement of seeing us come through was fun. High fives all around. Mudding was a blast. You will get dirty. Definitely wear face covering or get the bandana. I haven’t received the photos we purchased yet, but someone is working very hard to find out how I can get them. Think we left before they all downloaded. I highly recommend this tour.

  Super fun. Very muddy, make sure you bring goggles and a bandana. Lots of cash tips requested, food and souvenirs expensive but it was worth the cost for the tour. Great guides. Fun time. I would do it again.

  Our family of 4 (kids ages 14 & 12) really enjoyed this trip! The buggies were in good working condition, the staff was very nice (and fluent in Spanish, English, French). My 14 year old thought the snack (plantains, salami, and something similar to a French fry) was her favorite food in DR! There was a guide there just for the purpose of taking photos. We bought the photos (around 70 images) for $60 but were later told the cost was supposed to be $30. 🤷‍♀️ Some recommendations for your trip: Wear shoes that can get wet/muddy - flip flops are fine. Buy the $5 bandannas that they sell or bring you own, along with sunglasses because you will need them to keep mud out of your face. We wore bug spray but I’m not sure if it was needed. Bring cash for photos. They provided a plastic bag to keep our things dry. We brought small towels but didn’t use them. Overall a great trip that we would highly recommend.

  What a fantastic excursion!! Our family reunion group of 12 was excited for this and it exceeded our expectations. Really friendly and attentive staff, beautiful scenery and lots of mud!

  It was fun, problem for me is that when you actually own a nice side-by-side, these things was junk bro. Aside from that it was cool to see the cane fields and a river. Plan on getting muddy, I tried to avoid it as much as possible but you get pretty dirty. Probably should be half the cost.
