  The most memorable part of my 3 days with my guide David was the day we hiked the Great Wall. It was almost totally without tourists. Perhaps there were 10 people on the wall. We drove from Beijing for about 2.5 hours in the early morning. I also had a wonderful dinner of Peking Duck which I shared with David. The dinner had many side dishes which were all delicious. David was his American name he used instead of his Chinese given name. He was an excellent guide and safe driver. Prior to every site we visited and along the way he explained and answered all my questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and a very bright high educated young man. I would highly recommend him as a guide.   We did a private tour with Chuan yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. From 6:30 in the morning until almost 9:00 at night, he stayed with us – always punctual, attentive, and full of energy. Even before our trip, the experience was excellent: I contacted him via WhatsApp all the way from Tenerife, and the communication was smooth and easy. He sent us all the details, prices, and information in advance, so everything was perfectly organized. We started the day at the Great Wall, where he explained everything with great detail and made sure we enjoyed the visit to the fullest. After that, he took us to a famous local noodle restaurant for lunch, which was delicious. In the afternoon, we went to the Forbidden City, where he guided us through all the important areas and used his notes and explanations to bring the history to life in a clear and engaging way. Finally, we visited Tiananmen Square, and although he even offered to take us to a market afterwards, by then we were completely exhausted from such a full and wonderful day. Chuan is a guide you can completely trust: friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely reliable. If you are planning a tour in Beijing, don’t hesitate – Chuan is the best choice.
