Our Highland Lochs and Glens bike tour is the ideal day out for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who really want to get out into nature and be at one with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Your friendly and experienced bike guide will accompany you along a 18 mile (30 km) segment of national cycle route 7, through the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. An area known for its mountains, lochs and ancient forest. Its hard not to be inspired by some of the most stunning Highland landscapes in the country. No wonder this is considered to be one of the most scenic cycle routes in Scotland.

Choice of quality manual bikes or pedal assist ebikes, for a more relaxed experience.

This tour includes an optional short hike around the scenic balquhidder braes - Weather dependent

Transfers from Edinburgh accommodation are included in cost of tour. Pick up between 08:00 and 08:30.

Bring card or cash for lunch stop at an award winning cafe/bar.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

Route is mainly on cycle paths an quiet country roads.

E-bikes are available for a more relaxed cycling experience.

We loved this tour. This is at the top of our favorites list from our vacation. We got to see so much more because we weren’t on the main roads. Cows, fall foliage, beer, and a lovely guide. What more could I ask for

Johann was an excellent guide. He's so knowledgeable about the area and history. He brought us to two castles, an old church, through the Trossachs National Park and he included stops for amazing photo opportunities. The trip on the ebike started out with a little rain, but what an amazing way to experience Scotland! After about 5 min, the sun came out which dried everything and made for a glorious day. If we could take this ebike trip again, my husband and I would do it in a heartbeat. The bikes were also a dream to operate.

This tour was incredibly informative and picturesque. Our tour guide was phenomenal. He took us to an outstanding restaurant for lunch. He had a remarkable amount of knowledge about the local history and presented it in a most entertaining manner.

Sadly this trip was cancelled due to weather however Johann was more than accomodating and I did the half day bridges bike tour. Thoroughly enjoyed this and cannot recommend highly enough. The bike was modern and well maintained. Our guide was informative, friendly and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10

Super competent capable positive trip leader, careful driver, very considerate. As a 60 yr old cyclist on an e-bike it was easy but other younger riders rated it mild-end of moderate. Restraint lunch break was truly delicious. One 20 min vertical hike totally worth the view. Best outing day in Scotland! Thank you Johann!
