  You need an exclusive English speaking tour and guides who are willing to answer questions and take the tour over to the sights and exploring the location while giving them the historic facts. Otherwise, it would be better add the recording in different languages because it really makes no much difference. It was an overpriced one-way trip on a company coach and a really lame return to Budapest on a "public" river boat. I won't recommend this tour to anyone.

  This was a great highlights tour of Budapest. Ben, our guide (aka ‘fleabag!) was awesome. Really knew his stuff, was entertaining and funny. The buildings were amazing and the cruise was a great way to finish the tour.

• Great guide and great experience

  Our guide was very knowledgeable and approachable. We didn't have booking for parliament house which I would recommend. The cruise was good too. There is a 30 min walk from the end of the tour to the cruise.

  Beautiful view of the city from the Danube but really boring for the absence of a "voice" commenting on what, at the time, was being observed. Small screens illustrating photos, with written comments, were useless.

  

• Better to do separate cruise and separate city tour

  It was bus cum river cruise-the guide left us at a point after the bus trip at a point which was 2 kms away from the cruise site without clear instructions -the bus should have at least left us at the cruise site

  This tour was a great way to get an overview of Budapest as a city of two halves. I personally loved the Budai side the most. Our bus was good and the driver and tour guide had excellent knowledge and I got a good history lesson on Hungary turbulence over its time. The information given when asked questions was great. The boat trip at the end of the bus tour was lovely and relaxing. I enjoy the tour.

  The city is spectacular and everything is easier and more beneficial with a local guide fluent in Portuguese, Américo - [email protected], send an email and he will give you his WhatsApp. Without him we wouldn't have known certain places and details of the city, as well as the surroundings of Budapest. It's very worth it.

• Super disappointed!

  We were disappointed with the way the tour was rushing. There was no time to click any pictures. We had spent so much money to come visit and we were given 4 mins that to at one spot to click pictures and move around. Rest all the places there was no time whatsoever. People come to these places once for experience and pictures become our memories. So very disappointing as we didn’t get to make any memories. We’ll never ever recommend this tour to any of our known families and friends which otherwise we always do as we are frequent travellers! Not at all worth the money we paid.
