You will reach the beautiful Tuscan country side to meet the owners and producers of traditional Tuscan winery. You will learn about their organic wine making, visiting the vineyard to see the grapes on the picturesque vines (weather permitting). You will learn all about the wonderful wine and olive oil produced here using traditional methods from its passionate team dedicated to making only the highest quality. Then you visit the cantina where the wine is aged and learn about the aging process before tasting a selection of their wines and their organic extra-virgin olive oil. You will taste extra virgin olive oil (typical bruschetta), red, white and typical local food like pecorino cheese and ham. This is both a fun and relaxing way to spend the day, with real Italians sharing their traditional way of life with you.

We had a trip from Pisa and absolutely loved it. We did not want to come back! The driver, the local guide, the scenery, the weather, the wines and other group members - a total combination of a perfect trip! Was so worth of the money!

the entire trip was very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Emily, was fun and provided narrative during our travel to the vineyard in a very comfortable van. Laura met us there and gave us a tour of the cellars and then we went to the tasting room. Sampled about 7 different varieties of white, rose, and reds which were all delicious, which was served with various cheeses and meats. Wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed this small and very intimate vineyard. Highly recommend?.
Fantastic excursion that took us from Pisa and the coast , inward and up in the heights of Tuscany . A new world to come to!

It met the expectations, and agreed with the description! Was picked up precisely at the meeting place! On the trip to the vineyard the driver gave us lots of information about wine and traditions! And about the areas we drove through! The vineyard was absolutely lovely, and that was also the tour! The guide at the vineyard explained so clearly and in a wonderful way! Historic room with wine tasting, bread, ham and cheese! And their own olive oil!

Good plan to do. Private. Good driver and guide. Lots of facts and very flexible with timing and locations. Emilia was fantastic and even though we had a rainy day we loved the experience. Food was good but it’s mostly snacks like salami and bread, not enough cheese. You try 6 wines and all you want to drink so definitely worth it.

This is a great introduction to the Chianti wine world. The tour run by Amelia was amazing, say all four of our party and I could say the same for our new American friends. We had six very traditional White, Rose and mainly red wines, with locally produced Extra virgin olive oil, charcuterie and a selection of bread. We are super happy with how the trip from start to finish has gone. Finally we had a small group tour in an exquisite spot in the Tuscan countryside. Thank you Amelia.
Amazing tour. One of the best I’ve taken in Italy.

Amazing. Would highly recommend. Our driver (Massimo) was an expert on the country and the wine and kept us entertained the entire drive. Our person at the winery was amazing, showing us everything, telling us about the history and the wine making.

We liked whole experience. We felt that we were waited. Drive from Pisa was comfortable. Wines are good. Atmosphere and views are wonderful.

The tour was very interesting, with our guide / driver being very friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The host at the wine yard is also very nice.

Just returned from our Tuscany wine tour w/Lauri. What a delightful experience. Met outside the Lucca gates, an hour +/- drive though the scenery of Tuscany to arrive at Fattoria Poggio Capponi. We were provided an overview of the wine making process, and the wine cellar. Then onto sampling the white and red wine, along with their olive oil. All were well above average, and we bought a few bottles to indulge in while back in Lucca. Our driver Lauri was well versed on the area as well as the wine history along with the wine making processes without being overbearing. We were with three other couples and all felt the same. Well worth your time and investment.

Our driver, Amelia (I think this is how she spells her name) was amazing. She shared so much local history and highlights, it set the perfect stage for the day. The winery itself is beautiful. The tour was a perfect length prior to the tasting. We loved hearing about the history of the winery and the making of the wine. The tasting was so fun. We had 3 groups for a total of 7 people. We all laughed and shared stories. It felt like we were all friends. We were so relaxed being able to taste each wine slowly. We never felt rushed. I cannot recommend this tour enough. The pricing is very fair for all you get. It was a perfect day for us.
