This was a fantastic tour. I found this tour on trip advisor. I emailed back and forth with the company a few weeks before our visit. They were super helpful with lots of info about their tours. We were 3 adults (47,48, 79). Our guide Dayro was wonderful!. Very knowledgeable and so nice. The coffee and chocolate tour was very informative and made us want to do a more extensive tour next time. The sloths were amazing! You were able to get very close to them! It is a long day and the steps up from the waterfall are steep if you have difficulty walking. The sloth park also has some uneven ground but my 79 year old mom was fine and Dayro was a huge help with her! All in all it was a great experience!

We did the Waterfall, Coffee, Chocolate, and Sloth tour today, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Dayro was, as he proudly claims, the most capable driver, most capable guide, and the most handsome—and we wholeheartedly agree. Our day began with a special surprise: spotting wild howler monkeys in a tree. From there, we headed to the waterfall, which is truly breathtaking and even more beautiful in person. Next, we visited a coffee and chocolate plantation where we got to grind fresh coffee and chocolate and, of course, taste both. The plantation staff were wonderful and incredibly welcoming. My 72-year-old mom, who has some mobility challenges, was traveling with us, and I cannot say enough about how accommodating and compassionate everyone was. The staff treated her like family, ensuring she was comfortable, included, and cared for every step of the way. The wildlife portion of the tour was just as amazing. We saw a frog, an eyelash viper, several sloths in a tree, and even two baby sloths on the ground—one happily munching on a leaf while the other climbed from bush to bush. We ended the tour with a lucky sighting of a toucan enjoying a snack, followed by a snack of our own. Dayro went above and beyond by taking us to see the wind turbines and a stunning view of Tenorio, then stopping at a souvenir shop and letting us take our time shopping—even though he was surely ready to head home. Overall, it was a perfect day, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Dayro was kind, caring, attentive, and compassionate, especially toward my mom. We are so grateful for how thoughtfully he looked out for her and made sure she felt safe and included throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend this tour and especially Dayro as your guide.

This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our guide, Dido, was friendly, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable about the history, landscape, and wildlife of the area. Since it was just my wife and me, the experience felt very personal and relaxed. Dido stayed with us at every stop, took the time to answer our questions, and never rushed anything. He even brought a spotting scope, which was a huge bonus and made it easy to see animals and details we would have otherwise missed. His passion, professionalism, and attention to detail truly elevated the tour. We also stopped at El Sabor del Doña Carmen, where the staff was wonderful, the food was outstanding, and the butterfly sanctuary was a beautiful bonus that made the stop even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend Dido to anyone.

Guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and we got to see all the animals we wanted as well as learn how coffee and chocolate are traditionally made. We also got to taste it all, swim in the waterfall, and get lots of great pictures.

It was fantastic! We experienced a little bit of everything in one tour. The tour guide was awesome! Super friendly and patient. We learned a lot about the Costa Rican culture.

We greatly enjoyed this full day tour to Llanos de Cortez, sloth sanctuary and a Coffee and Chocolate tour. Our driver Dayro was very knowledgeable and kind as was our guide Christopher at the Coffee Plantation. We were able to see a beautiful waterfall, take a nature hike and see sloths, monkeys, iguanas, birds and frogs to name a few! We had an informative tour of the coffee and chocolate plantation and ended the day with a delicious Costa Rican lunch! We highly recommend this tour!

Anthony and Dido were exceptional! This has to be one of the best excursions we have ever taken. The information on the country, food, agriculture, animals, and so much more was incredible. They were so knowledgeable. They were also super fun! We laughed the entire time while learning. You get to see sloths in their natural habitat (and we saw many!!) as well as toucans, snakes, and frogs. The waterfall was gorgeous and I appreciated the changing rooms and bathrooms available at the waterfall park. I love how clean everything was too. You will not be disappointed with this excursion and I highly recommend. Gordo and Dido - your Green-Go friends from California appreciate you and will book again when we return. You made us feel like family. 🥰

Fantastic doesn’t not begin to describe this experience. You will start you morning early and travel for a large part or the morning and afternoon, returning after 3pm. The experience is absolutely worth a break from your beach trip to experience the life and culture. Be sure to bring suits for your waterfall experience and pack a bag with towels. We did not, so we missed out on the “full” experience of being in the water with the falls, but taking off shoes and rolling up our shorts/dress was absolutely enough. You do spend quite a bit of time in the van, so we were okay with not being wet for the day. It is a short, but moderately intense walk to the falls. The stop to see sloths, frogs, snakes, ants was absolutely amazing. It is a quick jaunt with everything you need and want to see in a short walk, like an animal sanctuary. They knew immediately where to look. You will not do much hunting for sloths. They were hanging from the trees within arms reach. The coffee and chocolate tour is the cherry on top of an already baking cake. Hilary was a fabulous tour guide and learning the process of both coffee and chocolate was a tasty and worthy moment. The tastes blew our minds and was vey kid friendly. Our lunch was delicious, from the fresh lemonade to the homemade tortillas! The butterfly garden was a bonus. The tour guides answered all our questions about Costa Rica as we drove and we saw everything from sugar cane to rice in fields as we drove. Fabulous guides and experience for anyone who was never been to Costa Rica, the beer in the cooler and pit stop to the local grocery stop was a bonus. It really rounded our of experience in Costa Rica and was worth every penny spent.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable friendly and informative, and the sights were incredible. Seeing the waterfalls and the sloths and tucons were very nice and I recommend this tour to anybody.
