Explore more of Pompeii than you would on any other guided tour, with a trained archaeologist to provide stories and context that will help you make the most of your visit. Upon meeting up with your guide and small group, you’ll skip the long lines to enter the ruins. Hear fascinating stories about life in the Roman Republic and see how ordinary people lived nearly 2,000 years ago. See the remains of a bakery where the food is still almost intact, the Temple of Apollo and the Roman Forum, an ancient supermarket, a cemetery, and even a brothel (if age appropriate). Marvel at the heart-wrenching plaster casts of those caught in the eruption at the exact moment of their death. You’ll also explore the House of the Vettii, a fascinating private home that recently reopened to the public following restoration. End with a stroll along the old city walls for panoramic views.

Not for the infirm. Or there should be a special tour. Enzo was a very good guide. His experience as an archaeologist came through. He was very knowledgeable about the site. Unfortunately it was very crowded. Seems counterintuitive to complain about the crowd when we contributed to it, but there it is. The meeting details were not very clear as we could not find our tour. Finally found them just before they were to start.

It was an amazing experience. Our guide, Vincento, was exceptional. He is a trained archeologist and gave us information that we never would have known if we had gone solo.

Lorenzo (Enzo) was an awesome guide with a wealth of knowledge. He was so enthusiastic and definitely passionate about his job. We felt that 3 hours was the perfect amount of time for the tour.
