Experience a 2-hour tour of the ancient ruins of Pompeii led by a professional archaeologist guide and skip the line tickets included in a small group of maximum 20 people.

Walk through the ruins and explore this ancient city, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD. Learn about the history of the town and how the Romans lived and see all the most important public buildings and private houses.

Visit the Western part of the town. You will see the Marina Gate, the Basilica, the Forum, the baths, the Lupanar (brothel), the bakery, the house of Faun, the Termopolium, the main street, the Plaster Casts of the dead's, and the Theaters.

The tour is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German and starts at the main entrance of Pompeii Ruins, called Porta Marina Superiore.

The archaeologist who led our group was fantastic (yellow coat/pink umbrella). Unfortunately forgot her name. Her energy was amazing and she pointed out so many fantastic things at Pompeii. She had so much insight to life in Ancient Pompeii and her passion was clearly evident. It made the tour fly by and we learned so much! Highly recommend!

A great experience. Sergio our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Pompeii. My only negative comment is that the audio earpieces were very uncomfortable to wear and the sound wasn’t great.

Our experience was fantastic. First, being able to skip the line and go right in was tremendous. There was many hours wait by the time we got there at 9 AM and we were able to just go right in. Our guide was very knowledgeable and obviously had a amazing grasp on the history She answered all questions and showed us so many of the key points. When we were done, which was way too fast, she told us the key things to spend the rest of the day seeing if we cared to. Very appreciative

Tour guide was knowledgeable and provided very good facts and directions. Would recommend this for folks interested in history. I would have loved to take this tour when I took Art History back in the day.

Excellent INTRO tour to the Ruins. Guide was knowledgeable and passionate regarding the tour. Would help to have a guide book before the Tour to help explain what we are seeing. Would definitely recommend this tour for everyone.
