Experience a 2-hour tour of the ancient ruins of Pompeii led by a professional archaeologist guide and skip the line tickets included in a small group of maximum 20 people.
Walk through the ruins and explore this ancient city, buried by Vesuvius in 79 AD. Learn about the history of the town and how the Romans lived and see all the most important public buildings and private houses.
Visit the Western part of the town. You will see the Marina Gate, the Basilica, the Forum, the baths, the Lupanar (brothel), the bakery, the house of Faun, the Termopolium, the main street, the Plaster Casts of the dead's, and the Theaters.
The tour is available in English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German and starts at the main entrance of Pompeii Ruins, called Porta Marina Superiore.

3.00Our guide Francesco was lovely and helpful. But the organisation today was not good! I know that Pompeii is a hectic site because of its popularity, but we spent what felt like ages after the recommended time of arrival standing around outside the entrance as the different Askos guides tried to accommodate two of the passengers who had missed their tour yesterday because of a delayed flight. It was nice that the tour guides were trying to help them, but as a result we were all standing around in the heat for an uncomfortably long time. In the confusion, the tour guides also forgot to give us our maps, which was a pain for those of us afterwards who wanted to stay on at the site after the tour had finished.

5.00Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. She stood up for us multiple times when other tourists tried to cut lines for some of the main sites at Pompeii . In the summer , it’s pretty hot so bring a uv umbrella or water . She also try’s to get you in the shade multiple times throughout the tour which was nice
