Engage with contemporary photography in the spectacular and suprising setting of The Royal Danish Theater – a 150 year old culturally preserved building that celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2025.

The headliner for this year's festival is the legendary British Magnum photographer Martin Parr. He has for decades enriched us with photography that challenges preconceived notions we have about our selves as humans. It will be his first major exhibition of his work in Denmark since 2003.

In addition to Martin Parr, a series of solo exhibitions by international photographers is presented, all of which are in line with this year's festival theme 'Fremkaldelser / Into the Light'. The four very different photographers who have been selected from 919 applicants in the festival's annual open call are:
