  Abelardo was our driver for both airport transfers, and he was excellent. He was easy to find outside the terminal, but note that you do need to step just beyond the exit doors to locate him. His vehicle looked exactly like the photos--clean, new, and comfortable. Abelardo was friendly and knowledgeable, giving us great insights about Costa Rica along the way. He even stopped at a small souvenir shop before dropping us off, which was a nice touch. The best part was that his service was about 30% cheaper than what the hotel offered. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend his service.

  Very polite and on time for our trip to the airport. Driver was friendly and made an additional stop so my wife could get a souvenir.

• More than 30 Minutes Late For Scheduled Pickup

  We used this company for our arrival transfer, and that transfer went very smoothly. Unfortunately the same wasn't the case for our departure transfer. We had coordinated a 9:55am pickup at our hotel which the transfer company confirmed in writing. When a driver hadn't arrived by 9:55 I reached out sending a series of three messages over the next 15 minutes which all went unanswered. Our hotel staff ended up calling the transfer company on our behalf and they were told the pickup was scheduled for 10:50 (which was not true) but that they would have someone there within 10 minutes. 15 minutes later a driver finally showed up. I think what was the most disappointing was that the only message I received from them was a simple "sorry for the inconvenience". I understand that errors like this can happen, but between the missed pickup and the lack of responsiveness to messages in a time sensitive situation, additional follow-up was appropriate and a refund should have been offered.

  Driver came a few minutes early which I appreciated. He also was very informative about the culture and the country which was awesome. Very professional and appreciated scheduling him for my pickup. Whenever I do return I would love to get max as my driver.
