  My daughter and were the first to arrive in Bali. Ketut our personal tour guide and driver was at the airport to meet us. He knew exactly where to take us to get cash and do some shopping before heading to our villa. The rest of the family arrived a couple of days later on different flights and times! Ketut still managed to pick everyone up on schedule and drive my daughter and I to the beach. Ketut’s knowledge and love for Bali and it’s culture enhanced our experience everywhere we visited. He knows where the best places to visit are and wherever we go people know him. Ubud was about an hour in a half to get to but felt like 30 minutes. It was a beautiful drive and Ketut would stop at beautiful locations on the way and enriched us with the culture and history of the island. Our best family vacation yet. I can’t wait to go back and explore the rest of the island with Ketut! Thank you for everything. Till we see each other again my dear friend. Thanks again Lisa Gronroos (mom)

  Driver and guide, mr Nyoman Adik, was mr nice all day through, and presented us for several of highlights og Bali (northeast). A wonderful day! He was a safe, polite and careful driver with a good sense of humour. Remember to bring sandals while visiting the waterfall-cave sine you must walk in water with stony bottom. Lunch is not included, but stops at the restaurant. Buffét. Nice view! The duration of the tour was 11.5 hours totally, and worth every minute.

  We have been to Asia many times and thought our tour guide was just another Asia tour. Buy Ketut proved us wrong. I worked with him months b4 our trip to customized our 5 days on Bali. All I had to do was give him a list of activities we were interested in and the places we must see. He planned lunch, dinner and scheduled other place of interest that he would recommend to fill out the days schedule. We especially liked the water activities - underwater walk and parasailing and the hike at 2 am on Mt. BATUR is a must do.

  Perfect private tour in Bali, very well organized in timing and places. Ketut is a very good guide, friendly and good driver. No problem at all in Bali with the earthquake occurred in Lombok. We visited primary school, handmade silver and gold jewleries, tipical balinese house, Batung volcano and lake having lunch there, tasted different kind of coffees and teas close to the forest with a beautiful sight, temple and rice terrace. Lunch and entrance tickets included. 8 hours tour, in all stops we took our time, so no rush! Totally suggested, also because the tour can be completely personalized. See you next time Ketut!

• UNESCO Sites - Everyone is in!

  UNESCO sites are a draw and make you want to visit - but, so does everyone else visiting Bali! Be prepared! The sites are busy! You will also spend a lot of time in the car, driving to the various locations. The driving is not easy with the traffic and winding roads. But, once you get to the sites, they are quite spectacular and somewhat enjoyable with so many of your other visitor friends. Tanah Lot was probably the most crazy site since EVERYONE was there waiting for the sunset. My advice is to take advantage of guides like Nyoman of Bali Private Tours. He showed us where to go first to take pictures, enjoy the sunset and avoid the crowds. When you're in the car most of the day, you want a guide that will give you history and background about each location and share some funny stories along the way. Thank you Nyoman Advik for a wonderful day! One final thing - bring a jacket! It's cold in the mountains and we were not prepared!
