5.00My husband and I were in Hobart for a day on a cruise ship. Having been there many times I was looking for something a bit different to do. Dave's Eats Hobart Food tour was just the thing. We had a great morning with our guide walking from the port around the docks and Salamanca area tasting Tasmanian delights. From fresh oysters, chocolate, jam doughnuts and deliciously creamy Tasmanian ice cream we had our fill. Our guide Katherine was great at giving us some history as well as detailing what we were eating and where the produce was from. We were delayed in getting off the ship and the company was fabulous, accomodating our late arrival and ensuring we still experienced the whole tour. Well done for customer service. I would highly recommend the company and the tour for anyone visiting Hobart.

5.00We had the most amazing day in Hobart with SARAH . She didn’t rush us , answered all questions with patience and great general knowledge. All the places she took us were so nice . The tastings generous and all Tassie produce. A perfect day . Great value and money well spent. Telling all our friends about Daves

5.006 of us all couples and friends, had an awesome morning on a foodie tour in Hobart with Dave’s. Sarah our guide was truly exceptional. Not only did she explain to us the historical background but the choices of food we sampled were outstanding. From the scallop pies, handmade liqueur chocolates, local deli samples showcasing some of the best Tasmania has to offer, best donuts you can imagine jam packed with jam and freshly baked to most delicious ice cream I have tasted for a very long time. As we walked from place to place in close proximity to each other around salamander road area, Sarah was patient, efficient, related easily with our group. She is a true delight. Thanks Sarah for the most beautiful morning which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

5.00We were fortunate to have just two of us on our 10:30am food tour of Hobart. Not only do you get to try local tasty food but with addition of some history and chatting with the locals. Truly an important part of exploring a new town. From Scallop Pie to delicious ice cream we had many bites of what makes Hobart and Tasmania so special. We had a fantastic tour guide (she said we could call her Dave so I quickly forgot her name) and she was training another who was born and raised on Tasmania so both had lots of insight and commentary.

5.00Sarah was excellent as our guide professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Knowing these tour have just started, and comparing to a tour we did the day before, our only suggestion might be for the establishments we visit to be prepared with a pre booked table, and produce ready to go for the group where possible. We have already recommended the tour to friends visiting Hobart next month.

5.00This was really fun and a nice way to start the day! We wandered around the Hobart waterfront and got to sample some of the favourites from local legends. It was cool hearing about things that are uniquely Tasmanian. The guide was good fun and the shops seemed genuinely excited to see us as we came in. I ate too much, but planning to revisit each stop before I head home! Thanks Daves, a great day out!
