It was an excellent experience to see one of the wonders of the world but you should know that for this you need at least 2-3 days to have proper time to see everything. We spent 2 hours in Kairo egiptian culture museum, 2 hours at the piramds, more thab half hour atpapirus institute, half an hour oil and perfumes shop. It was good to taste from everything but I would like to return for a citybreak in Kairo. Our guide Ahmed was an excellent guy, very well prepared, actually he is a full time arheologist, who is excavating in Alexandria, he knew a lot about everything, he's the best! Our guide waited for us in Kairo, and because we had time until the opening of the museum he invited us to a traditional coffee or tea on the noisy streets of Kairo... Our bus was a little bus, not a big bus with toilet as mentioned before, but after all this was our luck, because it was so much more easier to move in a little group than in a big group ( toilet, museums, etc). There would be nicer to have more communication with the drivers, they didn't really spoke english, we never knew whats happening when they stopped, and the music was quite loud in the night (we tried to sleep), but otherwise even out trip to Kairo was ok, we knew that is going to be tiring and uncomfortable. It was an 5 stars experience, everything on time, 7 hours travel to Kairo, and 6 hours back, we spent there 7 hours.

The trip began when a minivan picked us up from the hotel at 11:45 PM. We were then transferred to a larger coach, driven by a man and accompanied by a couple of helpers. While they were generally friendly—especially towards young women traveling alone or those interested in buying the items they offered—they attempted to separate our family from our seats to accommodate other passengers, which was quite frustrating. Our first stop was a museum, where we met Mario, our tour guide. While he seemed knowledgeable, we struggled to understand his accent, which made it difficult to fully engage with the experience. Next, we arrived at the pyramids, which were absolutely breathtaking and easily the highlight of the trip. At one point, we got a bit lost but thankfully found our way back to the meeting spot with the help of a shuttle bus. Later, we were offered a boat trip, which turned out to be far too expensive—500 EGP per person. In hindsight, we should have skipped it. At the end of the tour, we reunited with the bus, only to be sold a dinner for 38 euros, which was completely unreasonable. It felt like a forced upsell, and I would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing the meals they offer. We finally returned to the hotel around 1:30 AM, tired but with memories that were a mix of awe and disappointment.

Very long trip with what seams like many unnecessary stops in order to make their friends/other establishments money! But fun and worth the money! Would be 3-4 hours shorter with silly stops

The tour itself was amazing, our tour guide Mario was outstanding and have no faults with him. However, the bus journey was awful. Cramped on a bus with no leg room because everyone reclines their seats. Would definitely suggest not filling the bus so there’s more room for people to get comfy and recline. Please please please just pay the extra and get a flight. At one point ~ 1 hour into the journey at one of the stops me and my boyfriend contemplated not continuing our journey and getting a taxi back to the hotel due to such awful conditions on the bus. The bus makes many pointless stops to wait for other buses to join which adds a lot of time to the journey. We were picked up at midnight and did not arrive back till ~3:30 the next morning.
