5.00Dmitrij was a great guide. He was cautious, courteous, and efficient on the road. A great driver and this is coming from someone who usually gets carsick! We decided to go to Budapest first because there was thick fog in Bratislava. It took us about 2:45 to get to Budapest. Once they’re, Dmitrij drove us to several spots and walked us around on foot. It was a good mix. We explored both sides of the river and even had about 2 hrs to explore the Christmas markets! Then it was off to Bratislava. Since the sun was setting around 4:15p, we got there as it was getting dark. The castle was lit up on the hill and looked so pretty. Dmitrij took us up to the castle and then to old town, where we had 1.5 hrs to explore. Dmitrij always made sure we had several food and restroom options. This was a great way to sample two cities. It’s a long day, but you know this going into it so just plan ahead! Bring layers, snacks, water and you can nap on the van if you choose. We left around 8a (not too early) and got home around 10p. Dmitrij was very knowledgeable and appreciated our questions. It was great to meet him and spend the day together! Highly recommend :)

5.00It’s a long day. I was surprised that the other travelers on the trip was unaware that it was a two-city tour as advertised. It makes for a long day so be aware! Our driver and guide Dmitry did an excellent job ensuring the group had ample time for bathroom breaks and he was very enthusiastic about sharing the history of the two capitals.

5.00A day well-spent. Our driver/guide (Jakob) was amazing. We got to see the highlights of Budapest. Will definitely dedicate a future trip to this amazing city (need at least three full days). Thought it was a long day but definitely wtly worth it!

5.00Thomas is an amazing tour guide! This is the fourth tour this trip, and he is 6 stars out of 5! My group was lucky to have him today. A few things- 1. You will be in a car for a few hours, 2. Hungarian currency is recommended. 3. Dress comfortably as you’ll do a lot of walking.
