This one-day tour from Edinburgh takes you sightseeing at the impressive Kelpies, to beautiful Loch Lomond, the magnificent Trossachs National Park and the land of Scottish legends William Wallace and Rob Roy. Before a fascinating stop at Stirling Castle to experience the history and stories of Scottish royalty.

The Kelpies & The Helix
Departing Edinburgh, we head towards our first stop of the day; the Kelpies. At 30m high, they are the largest equine sculptures in the world and depict mythical creatures from Scottish folklore.
Balloch
We stop at Balloch at Loch Lomond to give our customers the option of taking a cruise across Loch Lomond. Admission for the cruise is not included.

5.00A terrific way to spend a day, hitting three impressive sites plus a charming lunch stop. Despite being a long day I really felt fully engaged and entertained the whole time. John was an excellent driver and guide; he kept us on schedule and also provided amazing depth of historic context during the driving portions of the trip. I recommend both John and this itinerary whole heartedly. Be on time!

4.00This tour gave us a lot of quick visits to amazing places. I wish we had a little more time at Stirling Castle but you just can’t do it all. Loch Lomond was so peaceful and our tour guide gave us so much history about the area and the famous song. Lunch was at such a sweet town but we only had time to eat. I would have loved to visit it a wee bit longer. Again, you can’t do it all. The Kelpies were amazing. Great Tour!!

5.00Perfect day trip. The optional cruise at the Loch Lomond was amazing. The bus was clean and comfortable. Our guide/driver, John was nice and fun story teller. We purchased the audio guide at the Stirling castle (online) but the wireless signal 5G/LTE was poor at the site and the app didn’t get download. My recommendation is to purchase it a head of time and download it before get there.
