Locally owned and operated, this is not your average food tour. We visit exceptional restaurants and other stops serving superior-quality food. Our guides are some of the most experienced in town. We're different because every tour is unique.
We don't visit the same stops every day, we have better relations with the establishments, and we can also cater to unique requests from our guests. We never use chain restaurants or tourist traps, and we can guarantee you will leave our tour full.
We will also highlight all the other top places to dine in town. After all, you need to eat three times a day, so knowing what and where to eat is essential to an enjoyable vacation. As such, our tour is suitable for everyone. We also accommodate most dietary restrictions, except for vegans.

Old Town
Old Town Edinburgh is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The tour travels around the Old Town to some of the best restaurants and cafes in town. Many of the restaurants and stops we visit are in the Old Town.
Royal Mile
The Royal Mile is the center of Edinburgh's Old Town. The street actually has five names, but we'll cover that on the tour. We will spend roughly 15 minutes on the Royal Mile seeing some of the highlights between restaurants and cafes.

5.00Tasting your way from High Street to New Town, Skye's tour includes samples of traditional foods as well as examples from Edinburgh's current cosmopolitan food scene. Skye brings knowledge of the backgrounds of dishes and restaurants to the tour, and suggests additional places to stop and enjoy. (We were on the last day of our visit, so couldn't follow up on that.) Plan on being full by the end of the tour....

5.00My son and I absolutely loved this tour. Skye gave a personalized tour with huge portions of food. We went to local places away the crowds. This was our favorite activity during our vacation. If I have the pleasure of returning to Edinburgh, I would do this tour again. I can’t recommend it enough!!!!

5.00Skye is the most knowledgeable person on the planet! My group was in awe about how much he knows about any given topic. He knows any statistic, any fact, just ask. But his knowledge is shared in a down-to-earth and approachable way. He is so kind and interesting, and he truly wants to share the culture of Scottish food. We went to a few different places and tried some wonderful food. My favorite was the leek, potato and Haddock soup. Mmmm I’m craving it right now! won’t spoil what else you get try, but 100% book this tour and you will have a wonderful, fascinating, fun, and informative afternoon with an incredible human being! It was fun bonding with the others in this small group over the food and the knowledge of Skye. Highly, highly recommend!!!

5.00I’ve taken food tours all over the world, and this was my best experience ever. Skye personally selects each restaurant, food item and drink. He was such a wealth of information. Whatever questions we asked of him he knew the answer and didn’t have to rush back to the kitchen to ask a chef. We also did some walking and learned some history. Skye gave us recommendations of sites to see and restaurants to eat while we are in Edinburgh. Do not make dinner reservations for the night of this tour. You will be so full from eating all the courses and there’s opportunities to even take food items with you in To Go containers. Our tour lasted from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. You won’t witness any meals being prepared, but if you are a foodie, you will still really enjoy this tour.

5.00Fantastic experience with tour guide Skye! We went to 6 different coffee shops, bakery, restaurants, and whisky tasting. The tour lasted over 4 hours, much longer than other food tours, which typically run for 3 hours. We went outside of the old town to taste some of the best local restaurants including Magnum and The Blind Tiger. I LOVE everything we tried! Strongly recommend!!
