Your guide will explain fully the history of all the area including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions and you will have the chance to take pictures of the whole area. You will spend more than two hours in the area so that you can enter one of the pyramid's chambers or visit the Sun boat museum. You may like to have a camel ride around the area. Moving to the Sphinx area where you will spend some time exploring this monolith statue, which symbolizes the power and wisdom of the pharaoh. Next to the Sphinx area, you will visit the valley temple where you will learn about mummification in ancient Egypt.

You will visit Sakkara, home of Egypt's oldest pyramid, built-in 2800 B.C. Your guide will provide a brief history of the famous Step Pyramid and you will have free time to walk around and visit the painted tombs of the nobles
Mit Rahina Museum
Memphis is the oldest capital of Egypt after the unity in 3100 B.C. You will visit the open-air museum in the city. In Memphis, you will see the second-largest Sphinx in Egypt, the lying colossus of Ramses II, and many more monuments dug in this great city.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. Your Egypt tours will take you on a 4 hours tour to explore the museum's treasures (opened in 1901). Look at the amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls in a guided tour. Although the museum has tens of thousands of artifacts in this short tour, your Egyptologist guide will focus on the highlights and masterpieces of the museum Visit the Tut Ankh Amun Wing on the first floor and see his wonderful collection of historically important artwork. The treasures are mainly golden and they cover a quite large section of the museum. This area of the museum includes significant statues, furniture, and gold sculptures. Mosque of Muhammad Ali
Visit the Citadel of Saladin, a 12th-century fortress. Inside the citadel; you will go into the Alabaster mosque. Built in 1830, the mosque was designed by a Turkish architect, who followed the same style as the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul. Your guide will explain the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the top.
Coptic Cairo
Visit the Hanging church, one of the most beautiful churches that were built in the 5th century. Consecrated to Virgin Mary, The church was built above one of the towers of the fort of Babylon. It has 110 beautiful icons and once was the seat of the Patriarch. Your guide will explain to you all about the church before moving to the Cavern church or the church of St Sergius and Bacchus. Thousands of visitors come annually to this church to visit the cave where Jesus the baby and the Virgin Mary were hiding for 3 months during the journey of escape in Egypt. The religious tolerance in Egypt is embodied by your visit to the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo. This temple is one among other synagogues in Egypt and is named after a merchant from Jerusalem called Ben Ezra. You will be given the full history of the synagogue and the position of the Jewish community in Egypt.
Valley of the Kings
At the beginning of your tour, you will cross the Nile to the West bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings. The Pharaohs were hiding their mummies and treasures in this barren desert area. Many of these treasures were found in these beautiful colored tombs. You can visit three tombs to enjoy the colors and murals on the walls. The tombs were craved deep in the mountain rock; you have the option to visit other royal tombs such as Tut Ankh Amun
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
Then continue your tour on the west bank and drive to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt who ruled the kingdom for 20 prosperous years. This temple is called El Deir el Bahari as the early Christians used the Northern monastery, as it was a Coptic monastery. Unlike the other temples, this one was built of limestone and partly hewn in the mother bedrock. It has three terraces and its focal point is to tell the story of the Divine birth of the Queen.
Colossi of Memnon
The final stop will be at the colossi of Memnon. The Colossi of Memnon are two monumental statues representing king Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. They are located west of the modern city of Luxor and face east looking toward the Nile River. The statues depict the seated king on a throne with some other carvings of his mother, his wife, the god Hapi, the Nile god, and other symbolic engravings. Both are carved from single blocks of sandstone and the name refers to the Greek hero Memnon who fell in the Trojan War
Temple of Karnak
Karnak temple is actually a complex of temples. The temple is dedicated to Amun Ra, the chief god in Egyptian mythology. Enjoy the Great Hypostyle court and the reliefs and murals that were added through the generations. Feel astonished at the tall obelisks 70 feet high and cut from a single piece of granite. Look at the statues of the different pharaohs who want to show their loyalty to RA. Keep an eye on the magnificent tall columns and their papyrus and Lotus capitals while their shafts are loaded with hieroglyphics
Luxor Temple
Following this, you will go for a short drive to Luxor temple. Originally, Luxor temple and Karnak were connected with the Ram-Headed Sphinxes Avenue. The connection was to celebrate the annual visit of Ra from Karnak to his wife Mut in Luxor. The temple of Luxor witnessed many historical eras and has its extensions and additions along the ages. Different structures and murals show the Greek, Roman, Islamic, and Coptic influences. Stare at the statues and obelisks of Ramses II. There should be two obelisks at the entrance of the temple but one of them was sent to Paris
Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa

The booking process with our customer service rep was so unbelievably easy. She was extremely responsive, beyond detailed, and just lovely to work with throughout the experience. The Egyptologist guides were friendly and funny while providing the right amount of explanation. Plenty to understand the significance but never once felt like I had to ask to move on because it was too much background. The drivers were also very friendly and helpful throughout the entire trip. On the whole, I felt very safe being with the guides and drivers. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or in a position that was unsafe. They also recommended great hotels that offered plenty of security along with delicious food so never felt like I needed to leave property for a meal unless accompanied by a guide. I cannot recommend Your Egypt Tours enough and have already passed along their information to many other friends.

Thanks to Your Egypt Tours for providing us with an excellent experience on our first visit to Egypt. Everything was perfectly organized, comfortable and we felt safe the entire time. We were greeted at the airport in Cairo inside customs, and then over a series of smooth hand-offs taken care off the entire week, including hotels, cruise, transfer, and sight seeing. The guides were very knowledgeable, and this matters, because many important things here are poorly labeled, and so much of the wonder of this place is in the little details that are easy to overlook. It was nice not having to worry about any logistics and simply be taken care of. There was a good balance between very intense sight-seeing and downtime. The sights and experiences in Egypt are truly amazing, and we do highly recommend these folks for anyone contemplating a trip.

Absolutely amazing customer service. The booking process was super efficient, very timely and it can be customized easily! The Egyptologist guides are very knowledgable and as they were associated with us for days so we built a relationship with them! We felt very safe and cared for throughout! And best of all, they went out of the way to see that our night time food delivery service was delivered to our hotel - just WOW!!

Your Egypt tours was fantastic from the very beginning. I read about them on a blog, and I reached out for an itinerary for our 8 days in Egypt in October. Mona was so responsive and helpful, I honestly didn’t even reach out to any other tour guides. From the very beginning, Ahmed took care of us at arrival and everywhere in between, mamdouh showed us all Cairo had to offer and Ash was with us on the bike cruise showing us everything along the way. I have never done a guided trip like this, and I was worried how it would impact our experience, as we like to do our own thing generally. We genuinely loved hanging out with all of our guides while touring sites, in vans and waiting between activities. They not only made everything seamless and taught us a ton, but they really added to our vacation. They taught us about ancient Egypt, modern Egypt life and everything in between. We genuinely already want to plan another trip, snd there is no way we won’t do it with these guys. Highly recommend even for day trips. All drivers, guides and customer service were awesome.

We traveled to Egypt in June of 2022 to do a week-long tour of the ancient historic sites. The main sites we went to with Your Egypt Tours were the Giza pyramids, the sphinx, Coptic Cairo, Museums, Sakkara, and burial chambers and Valley of the Kings and temples in Luxor. We traveled with our 8 and 10 year old boys. The company staff at Your Egypt Tours were very nice and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the sites. The vans were comfortable, air conditioned, and we never ran out of water while we were enduring the heat. We also saw family one day in Cairo, and the company took us to see them and picked us up when we needed it (as part of the private tour package). Just the transportation flexibility was a great asset, as getting around Cairo was more time-consuming than we thought due to the size of the city and the big-city traffic there. The schedule to see the sites ended up being a bit packed and intense (especially for our boys), but that was largely due to the fact that we only had 6 full days and they tried to fill as much as possible in for us, including the round-trip to Luxor. But the guides were very friendly and kind to our boys and our boys enjoyed interacting with them. The guides did their best to be playful and fun with our boys and that helped. I’d say they all became pals by the end of the trip :D Overall we would recommend them as a very family-friendly and accommodating choice for providing very educated tour guides and flexible transportation services for an Egypt tour experience.

If visiting a Wonder of the world, is on your list - then reach out to YourEgyptTours! My husband and I had an excellent experience with them. Travel Representative Ali helped us curate a 7-day private tour.. The entire team was professional and customer-service oriented from start to finish. They were punctual and attentive, and the company's vans were clean, modern, and comfortable. They transported us from Airport to Hotel and back, ensuring we checked in safely and waited while we did so- both at the airport and the hotel! Every day, the guide picked us up at our hotel and took us to the entrances of each site. We are used to sight seeing on foot everywhere we go, and missed that opportunity. On reflection, it is the best way to move around - safe, on time, with a guide ( Egyptologist) and focussed on the agenda. They gave us as much time as we needed to marvel the creation of our ancestors! Truly in awe of every site we went to! Ibrahim took us around Cairo and gave us a lot of information at every site and encouraged us to ask questions, and boy, did my husband have a long list !!! Ibrahim was very passionate about history and the sites itself, it made us even keener to listen to him . We changed our flight tickets to spend more time in Luxor and believe me, we weren't disappointed. The Hilton Hotel there was just fabulous as were the tours. We are so pleased with our shopping we did there with the help of Ibrahim in Cairo and Ahmad in Luxor. The Papyrus paintings are unique and exquisite - with a story to tell, Alabastur vases adorn my living room. We can truly say that it exceeded our expectations on this much awaited trip, with Your Egypt Tours ! We highly recommend them.

Let me start by addressing concerns regarding traveling during COVID-19. Let me allay your fears. I was moderately concerned giving the continuing pandemic around the world but I always felt safe and taken care of while in Egypt, and particularly by the staff/personnel at Your Egypt Tours. From the drivers to tour guides, hotels, and government officials at tour sites, there was very good compliance and encouragement of social distancing and mask usage. Now some tourists may not abide by those rules consistently, but that is true anywhere else in the world. But you definitely get a sense the Tourism Industry and Health Officials in Egypt take COVID seriously, and are trying to strike a delicate balance between safety and the realities of day to day economic stability. They have been exemplary in my humble opinion. Miss Mona Hamdy at the Home Office was extremely responsive to questions/concerns and open to suggestions/recommendations throughout the planning and during my tour. You could not ask for more! I was basically on a customized solo private tour with my own driver, tour guide, and modern/very comfortable coach each day. I always felt safe and well taken care of. So I was very much reassured. So for me it was closer to 10 day tour with a stop in Alexandria as well. My expert Egyptologist guides in Cairo, Mr. Mamdouh Ismail, and in Aswan/Luxor, Mr. Ashraf, were excellent. Besides being extremely knowledgeable about the history of the relics, they both explained in great, at times in humorous details what was clearly before your eyes, but often unnoticed to the untrained eyes as well. On a personal level, they were both very humble and modest individuals, and we often shared anecdotes about our respective families. That level of personal attention really rounds out and can make a great experience exceptional. I highly recommend to ask your guides for local restaurant/food recommendations during your trip--way better feasts than what you will get at your western hotels, and much less expensive. However a BIG SHOUT OUT to Sayed at The St Regis Hotel, whom makes excellent cocktails (especially a negroni)! I will definitely be back as 10 days is barely enough time to just see the highlights Egypt has to offer. On my next trip a few musts: Abu Simbel, Dendara & Abydos, Valley of the Queens, Bahareya Oasis, and Sharm El Sheikh.

As a group of five women travelling to Egypt for the first time, we booked a private tour with Your Egypt Tours based on reviews we saw on Tripadvisor. We could not have found a better company or a better experience! From my first email to Mona Hamby, customer service representative, I knew we were in good hands. Mona patiently answered all my questions, including very direct questions about safety... Was Egypt safe for tourists? Was it safe for women? And what she told us was true. Our group felt safe, well-informed and at ease throughout our trip, thanks in large part to our guides and drivers. Three of our group even camped overnight in the White Desert, an experience that each of us said made it to the top one or two experiences on our bucket lists! Throughout our 8-day adventure which included all the top sites and a 4 day Nile cruise, our guides and drivers were amazing! They not only contributed to our knowledge of Egypt's many splendours, they also made us feel special and welcome in their country. A big shout out to Mamdouh and Ash! You are both true ambassadors of your country, and we felt privileged to spend individual and group time with you learning about your country's history and its amazing culture. We also enjoyed meeting the owner of the company who took time out from his busy schedule to welcome us to Egypt. And if our Egypt hosts weren't special enough, everything else about the trip was also outstanding - the quality of hotels, the Nile cruise, the quality and variety of local food, trips to see local artisans doing their craft... I could go on and on! Suffice to say if Egypt is on your bucket trip, we believe this is a great time to see her treasures, learn about her history and meet her amazing people. And if you truly want a great experience, give Your Egypt Tours a call! You'll be amazed by their top-notch service, ability to deliver once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and passion they have for their country and for you, their clients! We'll be back!
