Our tour takes place on land away from the tourist trap areas. We are first on this off the beaten path trail which gives us the privacy before anyone gets there. We also have small groups to keep the experience more personalized.

El Yunque National Forest
The tour includes hiking, climbing, canyoning, cliff jumps, rope swing, swimming in waterfalls, and sliding down waterfall slides. You do as much as you feel comfortable with. Our guides will explain the flora and fauna of the surrounding Rainforest and we will provide proper safety gear like life jackets, Helmets, and knee pads. We require you to wear sneakers. No sandals or water shoes so your feet are protected from the rock environment and are able to climb the rock walls. Tour Guide helps you with pictures of the tour but it’s not included. Light lunch, Snacks, and refreshments at the end of the excursion is also provided. Afternoon tour with transportation includes Beach stop at Los Kioskos de Luquillo (Luquillo Beach) for 1 hour to shop, eat, or sight see.

The worst experience I have ever had with Viator

1.00Due to a wrong digit in the provided phone number they pretended that the driver has been waiting for us in front of the hotel but actually they didn't wrote me on the email or try to reach me out alternative. Even they said that they had a call with us and we had canceled which is not true. My tree kids were extremely disappointed and in addition also no refund of the money for non provided service. This is so ridiculous. We asked to be included in the group next day but after a couple of calls because the provider was not picking up they said there is not availability.

5.00Gorgeous and fun hike. Be sure to wear good shoes that you can get wet and muddy. You want traction for this and will get wet and muddy.

5.00Fernando was a great driver who took care of all of our needs. He was a great communicator and he made sure to get us back to our cruise ship before it departed. Julio was a fantastic guide in the rainforest. He was knowledgeable and passionate. We felt like we were in good hands with him. The excursion was adventurous and got our hearts going. It was the highlight of our entire cruise! The cliff jump and natural waterslides were amazing! Even my daredevil 13 year old felt a rush on the adventure.

5.00Fun adventure! Highly recommend. Wear shoes with a good tred that will grip wet rock. Plan on taking the minimum on the hike (water proof camera that is it). Enjoy the rain forest! Our guide was awesome! He kept us safe, shared interesting facts about the forest, the river, and the island. You are not forced to do anything you do not want to do. You choose your level of challenge. Thank you for a great afternoon adventure!

5.00This experience was challenging but truly so much fun. Julio did an amazing job keeping us safe and making sure we felt safe. We were able to decide how comfortable we felt doing things, some of our group jumped off a higher cliff but some didn't want to so they didn’t have to. It was honestly so much fun and Julio taught us about the wildlife and plants! We saw a coqui frog and a hummingbird. Amazing experience highly recommend! Thank you Julio!!

5.00Overall, we had a good time. Our driver was communicative, friendly, and showed up on time. Our guide was upbeat and knowledgeable, sharing lot of facts as we hiked. I wish we had a better description of the activity because the hiking was more difficult than we expected, especially with the many wet, slippery rocks we had to navigate.

We received clear communication prior to our excursion so we knew exactly where to meet and who we were looking for. This excursion was quite the adventure! Our tour guide, Julio was very knowledgable and made sure we knew what to do and helped us feel safe.

5.00Julio was very energetic, passionate & trustworthy. His love for Puerto Rico is beyond words- truly made the experience that much better. He spent time telling us history, showing us native plants and animals & was very helpful navigating the trail. Yamila (sorry if I butchered spelling) his partner guide was new and awesome to chat with as well. She took great photos and videos. We had such a great time visiting El Yunque & totally recommend this trip!

5.00We had an amazing tour guided by Julio. He was very patient and knowledgeable, he not only taught us about the foliage & wildlife but also the islands rich history. He made sure everyone felt comfortable with the hike and made sure no one felt pressured to go down the natural slides. This activity was perfect for newbies like myself.
