5.00The transfer was easy and efficient with a tasty breakfast included on the drive. The highlight was of course the safari- the driver/ guide was very knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure we saw as much as possible. We were fortunate to see a large group of elephants which we sat close to for over 20 minutes to watch.

5.00Great experience, saw lots of wildlife! The guide was knowledgeable which added to the experience. A great and easy way to get from Ella to the coast while ticking off a safari too!
Poor communication from the tour operator

3.00The night before, we didn't have driver specifications. The next morning there was a traffic jam on the road, we could not contact the driver. And the tour operator didn't answer the phone. No other groups of elephants seen either, but some very close up

5.00We had a perfect transfer from Ella to Mirissa with our driver, Ashan. The stop at Udawalawe National Park for an unforgettable safari. It was organised perfectly, making sure we were well looked after and got the best experience spotting elephants and other wildlife. Breakfast was included and it was a lovely touch – fresh, filling and timed just right before the safari. Ashan was not only an excellent driver, but also genuinely kind, helpful and attentive throughout the journey. He made sure we were comfortable, happy to adjust the pace when needed. It felt like a luxury day out rather than a transfer, and by the time we arrived in Mirissa we were relaxed, well-fed, and full of amazing memories. I couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough.

4.00Well where do I start! the tour company. When we booked we told them we had 3 very large suitcases and 3 carry on cases. I contacted them several times that we would need a large car or van. Told no problem then the night before I contacted them no reply. Driver rocks up in a small station wagon and had no idea what to do. So thank god for our hotel manager he arranged a private driver to take us to the safari and then onto our hotel in Mirissa that we had to pay for or we would have missed the tour. The tour was great and our driver for the tour was great. But the company and communication is extremely poor. I think we should be reimbursed for our costs for private driver.

5.00Excellent service. Prompt pick up at 5am and straight to the national park, stopping very briefly to pick up breakfast on the way. Many elephants roaming independently, along with other animals. Afterwards the driver brought me straight to my hotel in Mirissa by noon. Highly recommend if you are looking for transport between Ella and Mirissa and would like to stop by Udawalawe along the way.

1.00It was shambolic and I really couldn’t recommend it. Our driver didn’t know where he was going and his internet kept cutting out for his sat nav. A journey of 4 hrs took 6.5. We had 4 breakfasts for 5 guests which consisted of 2 sweet pancakes. In the end I got in the front and directed him with hand gestures as he spoke no English. The trek guide didn’t say a word to us about what we were seeing. Avoid at all costs.
Excellent safari. Saw many elephants. Wonderful drivers
