5.00Had a great experience at the Halpewatte factory tour and tea tasting. Our tour guide was Siva, he was brilliant and really made the experience for us. He spoke great English and his knowledge was outstanding, working in the industry since the 70s. He was always getting us involved with the tea making process and answered all the questions the group asked. Thanks again.

5.00This was a wonderful experience to see how tea is made. You can see the tea making process as you walk round the factory and marvel at the old machinery introduced by the Brish over 100 years ago. Our guide was excellent

5.00We had a great tour of the tea plantation and factory. Our guide Priyanka was a great host, showed us round everywhere and explained every part of the tea production process from growing the leaves onwards. We got to pick some leaves ourselves which after sorting, pressing and drying them, eventually became a cup of green tea that we tried before leaving. I left knowing a lot more about tea than when I arrived!
