Home of Carlsberg
Welcome to the Home of Carlsberg! At Home of Carlsberg, you step inside an iconic area with an exhibition and attraction in the heart of Carlsberg's original brewery. You will be taken back to where it all started in 1847 with the story of what Carlsberg was and is today. The exhibition unfolds the captivating story of Carlsberg and Carlsberg's founder, J.C. Jacobsen, and his son, Carl Jacobsen. A story about how disputes between father and son and widely differing perceptions of beer brewing have shaped Carlsberg. Through interactive games and videos in the exhibition, you will learn more about the science that has played an essential role for Carlsberg since its foundation and its importance for the development of beer worldwide. You will also experience one of the world's largest bottle collections, with more than 22,000 beer bottles. And that is just a fraction of what the exhibition contains.

The exhibition was very well done and interesting. Many different details from the history, the art of beer making, to advertising and the partnership with Liverpool FC.

A great experience! The Home of Carlsberg in Copenhagen really impressed us. The staff are fantastic – super friendly, helpful and in a good mood. You feel welcome immediately. The exhibition is excitingly designed and modernly staged. Many interactive elements make the visit very vivid, and the casual narratives of Carlsberg's history make you immerse yourself. Children also have fun here and can discover a lot in a playful way. Whether you’re a beer fan or not – it definitely doesn’t get boring here. We have had a great time. A visit that is absolutely worthwhile. Clear recommendation!

A beautiful and present story about a piece of proud Danish industrial history...which has spread worldwide. The story itself was really well screwed together - so everyone can't avoid getting infected. Bla. because Carlsberg has used modern interactive tools and live stories.

We (a mother and daughter) had a fabulous morning out at the Home of Carlsberg. We did the exhibition which was included with the Copenhagen Card, this is a really excellent and modern collection which is highly interactive throughout as it tells the story of Carlsberg beer and its creators. You get a free beer included with your ticket which is cashed in at the bar at the end. Throughout there are picture opportunities and interactive elements that you scan onto your wristband and can download later for free. We also paid for the beer tasting- again wonderful! This was led by a guy called Gustav, he was highly knowledgeable and very friendly. We were able to try three very different beers- even being able to take a full glass of our favourite one away! I would recommend this to anyone visiting Copenhagen.
