This is a great half-day tour option if you’re looking to explore Greece beyond Athens. You will possibly view the most beautiful sunset of your life.
Pass idyllic beaches as you leave Athens for some of the most gorgeous ruins of Ancient Greece.
The tour begins with a breathtaking drive along the scenic coastal road(one of the nicest coastlines in Greece). During this relaxing ride, you’ll enjoy splendid views of the Saronic Gulf while passing through some of Athen's most beautiful suburbs. During our way to Sounion, we will stop at the Lake of Vouliagmeni, in the heart of the Athenian Riviera.
Arrive at Cape Sounion, a historic and beautiful area of Greece. The steep cliffs offer a breathtaking, panoramic view, and on a clear day you can look out to some of Greece's beautiful isles. In addition to the views, look forward to visiting the 5th-century B.C. Temple of Poseidon.

Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is a complex in the bay of Faliro in Athens which includes new facilities for the National Library of Greece (NLG) and the Greek National Opera (GNO), as well as the Stavros Niarchos Park. The $861 million project was completed in 2016, and was donated to the Greek state in 2017.

Good communication from viatour before departure, very nice driver who spoke French and who provided us with several explanations and showed us other points of interest before and after the visit of the site. I recommend the activity and the choice to visit the site in the morning from opening is also recommended. We had the site almost to ourselves.

5.00Marina Apostolou from Greece Athens Taxi recommended this half day tour to us on Day 1 of our visit to Athens. We were picked up on time by the driver Spyros in a very nice, clean van. The road journey is very scenic and absolutely memorable. We had ample time at the Temple of Poseidon to hike through the hill and soaked into the breathtaking views of the sea on the 3 sides of the hill before sunset. The sunset from there was very beautiful indeed. While the Temple of Poseidon looks similar to the Acropolis, this place was not as crowded as the Acropolis in Athens (which is also undergoing renovation work). A very worthwhile tour. Spyros was a great company for us on this tour (and on the next day's half day tour of Athens as well). Both Marina and Spyros have been instrumental in leaving very good memories in our hearts of Greece and its people.

5.00Loved our late afternoon tour of the Athens Riviera with Andreas! Although the weather was kinda rough (the wind…OMG!) It was a great start to the second leg of our Greece trip based in Vouigi. Andreas was warm, open, a great/safe driver and a wealth of wonderful information about the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5.00Beautiful views, well worth the drive, especially if you go during sunset. The sunset tour will get you home late and there is only snacks at the destination, so plan food accordingly! Our driver was wonderful!

5.00This company was excellent. The tour with Kostas was wonderful. We felt safe and he even took us to a couple of unexpected places which we would have totally missed - what a great surprise. Marina was completely communicative and everything went smoothly and on time. I would totally recommend them and will definitely use them again.

4.00Spyros was on time, very friendly, and knowledgeable. We had a private group, and he made accommodations based on our requests. We liked the ease and comfort of the private van vs the many buses we saw at the Temple. The sunset did not disappoint!

5.00Great day with George.Beautiful drive along the coast down to Cape Sounion .Great place to visit ,spectacular vista ,great pictures.On the way back had a great seafood lunch by the Ocean.Traffic coming back into Athens was bad as always .Home by 4 .

5.00Mariana communicated with us in advance which was very nice so we were certain we were on track for our tour. Our guide, Andreas was timely, very friendly and so knowledgeable. We had a marvelous time. Make sure to grab a quick bite at the cafe before going to Poseidon's temple to watch the sunset from there. Highly recommended :)

5.00Andreas collected us from our Hotel in Athens and took us to the Temple of Poseidon to enjoy the sunset. Along the way he pointed out various landmarks and things of interest in excellent English. His car was excellent as was his driving which all made for a very enjoyable evening. Praise should also go to the office staff who kept us informed of the trip details and even suggested a slightly later start time due to the hot weather.
