During our tour, we provide opportunities to get out of the vehicle, stretch your legs & get some fresh air. Our friendly guides will even be your photographer for the day!
After collecting our guests in the city, we start the day on a high (excuse the pun) by heading up to the Mount Victoria lookout. From there we zip to Lyall Bay beach on the way to the Weta Cave where you'll hop out to visit the Weta store. After a break for lunch you get a ride on the Cable Car & after we collect you at the top, we head downtown to Parliament/Beehive & the Lady Norwood Rose Garden.
We may as well visit Old St Pauls church whilst we're there but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

COLLECT Our journey starts by safely collecting all of our guests & getting onboard our vehicle. If you are coming in by cruise ship, we will collect you directly from the port. You do not need to get on a shuttle bus or head to the city as we are accredited to collect you as you walk off the ship. If you are being collected from your hotel then please wait in reception or just outside where you can been seen by your friendly guide. Sit tight, sometimes traffic (or people) can delay our arrival. If you are being collected from the iSite then pop out to the tour bus stop just outside/beside the iSite. Keep an eye out for Ka Rawe signage on the vehicle & we'll see you soon!
Mount Victoria Lookout
What about this for a first stop! Check out the best vantage point in our beautiful city. Breathtaking 360 degree views of the central business district, the harbour & the ocean to the south. Stunnnnning! Legend has it that Wellington harbour, originally a land-locked lake, was home to two large and very active taniwha (sea monsters). One taniwha forged a passage to the open sea creating the entrance to the harbour. The second, named Whataitai, tried a different route, became stranded and died. It is believed that Tangi-te keo (Mt Victoria) was named after the soul of Whataitai. Probably the best photo opportunity on the tour, our guide/host would be delighted to be your personal photographer for the day. What a beautiful city!

5.00Fantastic tour. Nathan, our guide knows everything about his home city and proudly promotes it throughout this tour. He was very flexible in the itinery and we saw just about everything required in the few hours we were with him. He is everything you hope for in a guide. Pleasant, knowledgeable, flexible, and a good driver. Thank you again for showing us around your wonderful city. we hope to return again some day.

4.00AC didn’t work for most of the ride, mic had the worst echo and was hard to keep up with the words but other then that its was pretty good, wellington isn’t a super interesting place like auckland is but was good paced and our driver was great and worked with what he had, the museum was the best part!
Ka Rawe are awesome!

5.00We were privileged to have the wonderful Nathan show us around Wellington for the day. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable & adapted the tour to fit our needs. The tour covered a wide aspect of Wellington from its views, industry, history & culture. It was even better than expected. Ka Rawe Tours, they are fabulous!!

5.00Nathan was our guide and was fantastic . He was knowledgable, flexible around the tour timings , the tour bus was clean and tidy, he was a very hospitable host, and happy to share information on the life of a New Zealander . We had lots of fun and giggles . Lots of sights to see , never rushed. A great highlight tour of wellington .highly recommend this tour
