Due to the vast area covered, a large portion of the tour is spent on the bus, taking in the scenery of Scotland.

After departing Edinburgh you’ll head north through the central belt of the country. Your guide will entertain by laying the foundations of many a story about Scotland’s past heroes like William Wallace and Robert the Bruce who made this area of Scotland their own. You will spot royal palaces, giant mythical Kelpies and the ancient stronghold of Stirling Castle. Arriving at our first stop of the day, surrounded by the verdant hills of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park. Stretch your legs, enjoy a coffee or some baked goods and refresh before rejoining the bus to continue north. Please note, during the winter season we stop at Callander instead of Balquehidder.
Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park
As we travel through the ‘Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park’ our bus weaves through hills, mountains and Glens. These remote places were once inhabited by Highland Clans, not to mention Scotland’s most famous outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor, whom some consider The Scottish Robin Hood. Look out across the landscape and picture what it was like as you hear the remarkable bloodthirsty stories of betrayal and revenge as told by your guide. If we happen to spot some of our famous ‘Hairy Highland Coos’, we might stop for a selfie.

5.00It was an incredible experience for me and my partner. She is who was a fan of the fantastic world of Harry Potter, she was amazed by the beautiful landscapes that this tour offers! Small positive note for driver and guide Steven! He made us discover this part of Scotland with joy and enthusiasm, even in the bus because he knew how to set the mood with these little anecdotes!

5.00I had a great experience on this Highlands bus tour. The views were stunning, the trip was well organised, and the driver (Stephen) was friendly and knowledgeable. The stops were well timed and the bus was comfortable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Scotland.

5.00We had an amazing day with the tour today. Peter is the best tourgide and is telling wonderfull stories about history, facts of scotland and more. We heard music the whole way as well with information about the writher and singer. The view everywhere was amazing as well! It is a good route for a one-day-trip.

5.00We did the tour and it was an amazing experience. Peter was a great guide (and driver) with a lot of humour which made the tour great. The music was also great! He even shared his spotify for anyone who wanted😉. The spots we visisted where great and you could take amazing photo's and enjoy the scenery.

5.00Fraser kept us entertained the whole trip while driving, and I have to say, that’s some real talent! His knack for storytelling brought Scotland’s history to life with a great sense of humor. His music playlist was just spot on for the journey, too. @Fraser, keep those Scottish bangers and movie soundtracks coming! The soundtrack from Outlander and Harry Potter where such a nice touch as we approached the Glenfinnan Viaduct. It felt absolutely magical driving through all that beautiful Scottish scenery.
