Go Sailing offers you the chance to appreciate the wonderful Lisbon sights from a different perspective.

Enjoy a remarkable sailing experience where you learn, grab the helm, help on the maneuvers and/or just relax aboard of a 12 meters sailboat.

Lisbon Sailing Tours offer several sailing boat experiences and the chance to have a small workshop of sailing if you are interested about it or just relax and enjoy the tour.

We also offer several difference experiences for group (min 2 and max 11 people). Tailor made tours are also possible but should be arranged in advance (e.g. Cascais, Team Builing).

We were lucky enough to be the only two people that booked on the boat trip, but Valtor was kind enough to still take the boat out, and gave us the MOST amazing few hours of our whole Portugal trip. Such a lovely guy, he made us so welcome, and we had fun steering the boat for most of the time, hoisting the main sail, and enjoying unlimited beer or wine and simple snacks, whilst grabbing amazing sunset photos from a memorable viewpoint. We have sailed with Valter twice now, two years apart. Each time was great, allow me to explain further. My experience is there are two types of sailing experiences. One type is you sit on the boat, they hand you beer or wine and you float around for a while, make nice conversation and return to the dock. The 2nd kind, which Valter offers, is actually sailing. He has a nice 12 m or 13 m Benneteau, it is meant to sail. That is what you get so it makes for a thoroughly enjoyable evening for those that have a background in sailing.

We booked a private tour, as a group of 6, and it was a highlight of our trip! There is the opportunity to get involved with the sailing if you want, but equally you can sit back and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Valter and Philip were the perfect hosts, with lots of knowledge and a good sense of humour. I would definitely recommend!
Excellent in all ways and the best pricing for what you get!

I never write reviews but this is my second one for Go Sailing because of how outstanding it was! My friend and I stumbled upon Go Sailing on a whim, deciding last minute to book a boat tour—and we’re so glad we did! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The pricing initially made me curious about the quality, but it turned out to be an incredible value. Valter, the captain, was warm, welcoming, and full of fascinating insights about the sights we passed. His approach felt personal and genuine, like being hosted by a knowledgeable local friend rather than a commercial operator. This personal touch made the experience so much more memorable. Another highlight was the intimate group size. With just one other couple on board, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. By the end of the trip, we were all laughing and chatting like old friends. We sailed during the winter, which meant we were treated to a stunning sunset during our journey. It was absolutely breathtaking and easily one of the most magical moments of our trip. I can’t recommend Go Sailing enough—it was the highlight of our vacation, and I’ll definitely be back with more friends in the future! OBRIGADO, Valter!! - Kaity and Michelle

Valter and Carlos took us on an amazing sunset sail on the river. We could not recommend this trip highly enough. Valter was a brilliant host and the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable.

The boat was lovely, the sights too and we really appreciated the drinks and all the stories we got. Valter was a great host! I would definitely recommend this for everyone! We loved every second of it!

Our host (Valter) was such a nice guy, an amazing host with who I felt like we got a new friend. Sailing on the river and enjoying the views of the city and downtown was simply amazing, for sure something I'll never forget! We even got to help set sails and sail the boat, perfect!! I would highly recommend, don't hesitate to book this because for sure you'll have a lifetime experience as it was for me!!! Thank you a lot a see you next time ;)

Valter was amazing! He offered us each an opportunity to sail the boat (while teaching us about sailing), he was very welcoming, friendly, and full of great stories that kept me intrigued. Not to mention his great sense of humor! It’s clear he has a passion for this. The experience surpassed any expectations I had. I highly recommend this if you’re in the area!
