  Tony was a great guide. If you want a personal guide and don’t want to spend more than a couple of hours getting the basics of Venice then this is highly recommended.

  The tour guide was very friendly. I believe it is his business and I want to wish him well, however unfortunately, this private tour was not worth the expense. To begin with, the start times kept changing, with an eventual start time 1.5 hours later than originally booked. Following the walking part of the tour, which was surface level facts at best, the navigation to the gondolier was confusing, the gondola ride lasted about 15 minutes. AND our gondolier “Dennis” was very rude which ruined our already short tour at 1 hour 45 minutes (the Viator listing states 2 hours 15 minutes). I don’t mind spending a lot of money on a good tour, but this one cost us over 270 euros (more than $312 US dollars) and it simply was not worth it. You can find better tours at a fraction of the cost or even free. We learned more and experienced better entertainment on our free walking tours during our stay. Save your money.

  Tony was an incredible guide and we are so happy that we booked this tour. He was communicative the evening prior so we had contact details and confirmed our meeting point. The day of, our water taxi was a little late, but Tony waited for us for 15-20 minutes reassuring it was no problem which kept the morning stress free. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Venice and added in interesting Venetian stories while showing us really beautiful sites. We ended with a gondola ride, which was certainly a highlight. I can fully recommend Tony and this tour if you’re looking for something private and special while in Venice!

  My daughter and I had so much fun! Tony was so informative and really showed us a lot. We loved the gondola ride as well. It was so much fun! We'd highly, highly recommend this tour with Tony!

  We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! When looking at all the options in Venice, we decided a private tour was the way to go—and choosing Tony was the best decision we could have made. From start to finish, the tour was absolutely incredible. Tony is not only extremely knowledgeable, but also so engaging and easy to be around. He answered every question we had (and more!) and shared fascinating details about the history, culture, and hidden corners of Venice. The whole experience felt less like a formal tour and more like spending time with a good friend who happens to know everything about this magical city. He tailored the tour perfectly to our pace and interests, showing us both the can’t-miss highlights and the special local gems that make Venice unforgettable. We are so thankful for our time with Tony and would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for a personal, customized, and truly memorable way to experience Venice.
