The maximum of travellers in the Alhambra guided tour will be 30 people and the maximum of travellers in the bus will be 50 people.
The tour with the guide in German, Italian or French requires a minimum number of participants and it is possible to be cancelled with short notice if the minimum is not met. In this case, we will provide audio guide for those languages.

The Alhambra
On a rocky hill that is difficult to access, on the banks of the River Darro, protected by mountains and surrounded by woods, among the oldest quarters in the city, the Alhambra rises up like an imposing castle with reddish tones in its ramparts that prevent the outside world from seeing the delicate beauty they enclose. Originally designed as a military area, the Alhambra became the residence of royalty and of the court of Granada in the middle of the thirteenth century, after the establishment of the Nasrid kingdom and the construction of the first palace, by the founder King Mohammed ibn Yusuf Ben Nasr, better known as Alhamar. The fortress became a citadel with high ramparts and defensive towers, which house two main areas: the military area, or Alcazaba, the barracks of the royal guard, and the medina or court city, the location of the famous Nasrid Palaces and the remains of the houses of noblemen and plebeians who lived there. You will have time to enjoy lunch after this visit.
Alcazaba
The Alcazaba plainly served a military function. The entrance to the Alcazaba was at the foot of the Tower of Homage . At the base of the tower is a slight slope. A simple L-shaped walkway keeps the main gate from being seen from the outside.

4.00I am giving a 4 star instead of a 5 star as both pickup location and time mentioned on Viator for this tour was wrong. The actual location was Calle Rastro 12 at Naturando office at 8.30am instead of 7am as indicated on booking voucher. Overall the trip was well organized. Special shout out to Guide Sergio for detailed narration.

4.00“ Granada Day Trip with Alhambra and Albaicin Tour from Seville”. I booked this trip specifically because I wanted to tour the Alhambra however, this title is misleading. The trip does not include a tour of the Alhambra. I was only able to see the outside of the building from the courtyard. You have to scroll through all the fine print to read that touring the inside of the Alhambra is not included in this tour. I did not find this out until the morning of the tour and the company could not refund my money or work with me to include the Alhambra. Several other people in my tour group were misled by the tour name as well. I would recommend changing the title of this trip to more accurately reflect what the tour includes. Our tour group leader, Emanuela, was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the town. This is basically a walking tour of the city of Granada. She did a valiant job of keeping us altogether, which was not easy given the steep inclines of the city and the various levels of physical fitness of the participants.. I would recommend a bigger or more colorful flag to guide us. I would not recommended this tour for anyone with a heart or lung condition or anyone who is elderly.

1.00Review It was an absolutely disappointing experience. 1. No one reached out to inform about the meeting point and time until I reached out in the afternoon one day before the tour. They only replied at 5 pm one day before the tour, and the meeting time was 8:30 am, which was different from the 7 am I selected for the tour. It caused disruption to our plan as we had some work to do. 2. One couple in the tour got informed before departure that their tour did not include the tickets into Alhambra. They’ve paid the prices of all inclusive tickets but they were told they can only walk around the surroundings. What’s worse is that, we were told ON THE BUS that our tickets also didn’t include the access to Alhambra and the Palace. I WAS SHOCKED. I showed them the prices I paid, which DID INCLUDE the tickets to Alhambra including the Palace. The company had to get 4 tickets for us and the other couple. It was only 5 groups in the tour, they made 2 wrong. They managed to get the tickets to Alhambra, but tickets to the Palace were unavailable. It was disappointing that we travelled that far, paid so much, but didn’t get access to the Palace. 3. The tour guide told us that the company tried to reach out to me a day before about the tickets. I did not receive any messages about this. They managed to tell me about the meeting time but didn’t tell me about the ticket incident, which doesn’t make sense. And I booked this tour 3 weeks before the tour, and I was very sure that at the time I booked the tour, the tickets to Alhambra and the Palace are available! It’s so disappointing that the tour company screwed up the tickets… isn’t that the basic? 4. No one proactively follow up with the refund. 5. The tour company is not the same as what’s been posted in the introduction. It was the first time I had such unpleasant experience in a tour. For my next visit to Alhambra, I prefer to go on my own.

1.00I booked this tour from New York through Tripadvisor for $137.50 USD for two people, convinced that it included the visit to the Alhambra, as clearly shown in the photos and description. From the beginning there were problems: when trying to modify the date they could not find the reservation, there was no follow-up and we were only contacted two days before to give us a meeting point that did not include pick-up. Already in the van, on the way to Granada, the guide informs us that we had NO tickets to the Alhambra, not even to the gardens. He told us that “they would take care” of getting them. Upon arrival, we were charged an additional $121.85 USD ensuring that we could now enter. The great surprise was to discover that it only included Gardens, Generalife and Alcazaba, NOT the Nasrid Palace, which is the main thing. The official price of this ticket on the official website of the Alhambra is 12–13 € per person. We pay over $120 for two people, which is completely abusive. The guide was with more than 20 people, the experience was massive, miscommunicated and misleading. Photos of the ad show the interior of the palace, which does not correspond to what was offered. I feel conned. Total lack of transparency and honesty. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances.

4.00Granada and Alhambra trip was a bit hectic. Definitely needed more time to spend in the area. To and from travel time was close to 6 hrs. That only gave a little around 5 hrs to explore area with guides. Lunch and break time took almost an hour. Regardless, trip organisers did an excellent job describing gusting importance of the respective area. Worth visiting this place again!

5.00We had a really nice time! Alex was a great tour guide around the countryside and Albaicin area. We also did the Alhambra tour, and I highly recommend getting Antonio to be your guide there! Overall, learned a lot and had a wonderful & relaxing trip. We also got an unexpected flat tire on the ride home, but Alex and our driver handled it perfectly and promptly.
