Discover the most famous monument in which Seville was created around, the Cathedral of Seville.
The Cathedral has been the beating heart of Seville since its creation as a mosque in 1198. After Seville fell under Christian rule, the decision was made to create a Cathedral in the place of the mosque that would show off seville’s prosperous wealth. Legend has it that the original design committee wanted the outside world to think they were “mad” for attempting this daunting project.
Built in 1507 the Cathedral remains the largest Gothic style Cathedral in the world! Today the famous Giralda bell tower, which lower portion remains from the original 1198 mosque, rises powerfully about the city skyline.

Great experience of the Séville cathedral tour

5.00We had a tour of the Cathedral with Karlos which was a great experience. The place is huge and having a knowledgeable guide is a must. Plus you skip the lines and the place was packed. Karlos provided helpful context, pointed out important things, told stories and answered questions. He also has a nice sense of humor which made the tour even more fun. We would highly recommend booking a tour with Karlos and you'll definitely get a much richer experience of Seville.

4.00Tour was belated and then felt rushed. Audio did not work more than 1/2 the time because of radio frequency being cut out. Not a lot of time to sit and observe and learn what was being spoken about. Church is beautiful and we got some fun facts however not as much as we hoped for the price. Skip the line was best part since we got to enter right away.

5.00We met our guide just up the road from the Cathedral, at the tour guide shop, we then issued with ear phones and followed him to the cathedral. We were taken to key points in the Cathedral, which took about 1.5 hours, we then went up the tower. We’re in our 70s and managed it, we did take advantage of a window cill to rest about half way up. Coming down was easier. The top of the tower was packed with people. We then had free time to explore the Cathedral on our own. Our guide was personable, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.

5.00We had a great time being part of Alvaro's tour group, his passion and enthusiasm for the history of both the city of Seville and the Seville Cathedral was infectious. 10/10 would recommend!

1.00Very bad! First we made a reservation at 11:00am and they said they had it by 3pm even though I had the document stating 11. Then in the cathedral the guide came in super fast and lost us, we had a hard time finding him not even realized that he had forgotten 4 people. And last and worst, he gave us the whole cathedral tour knowing that they were going to close the tour and of course when we arrived at the tour it was already closed and we could not enter. We pay for a tour to the tour we didn't receive.

3.00The skip the line feature was the best part of the tour. The guide was a contractor who was not vested in the experience. The sound on the headphone was difficult to hear. It was hard to follow the guide through the crowd as her direction was not clear. When this was brought to her attention she said we should complain to the company - not her as she was only a contractor.
