Its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the East Sea and the Lao mountain range made Ba Na a popular place to retreat for the French and wealthy Vietnamese.

Tea was my guide for the day, and I had a great time. Got to see alot of the sights and get some great photos. Went to a great spot for some local food. Driver provided wet towel and water every time we returned to the vehicle. The cable car ride was fantastic. Definitely worth doing if in Da Nang.

In spite of a very crowded public holiday, our tour guide Tien was very patient and helped us to understand what was critical to see and what not. The advantage of a private tour is exactly flexibility, allowing to adjust continuously to queues, kids tired and our personal interests. Ba Na Hills may not be for everyone, bcs it's just a replica of real European locations. It may interesting when traveling with kids. Marble Mountains was interesting too. Lot of stairs and exercise which is great when not too hot. Tien was fantastic, because joined with the whole sport activity from the beginning to the end. Tommy Tours was already recommended to me by friends and did not disappoint! Highly suggested. Note: vans can drop & pick up directly from the cable car station, unlike cars and busses, so using Tommy van has been a plus!

A great day out and very unique experience, not what we were expecting but we had a fantastic time. Our guide T was excellent and gave us great insight into local culture, and the bridge/ theme park itself. I would recommend this trip.

This tour was unexpected in so many ways. We thought we were just going to see a few things on the Ba Na Hills, like the bridge and the Buddha. Turns out there's this massive set of villages and gardens up there! It was sadly a little Disneyland-like, but still impressive in the scale of everything. And we learned way, way more than we expected, thanks to our guide T. He was very knowledgable about both Ba Na Hills and Marble Mountains. The latter is more of a historic experience, but it was more physically challenging than we expected. There are a LOT of stairs and a somewhat challenging climb on the slippery marble through the "gate to heaven". While none of it is what we thought, this was probably one of the more enjoyable things we did in Vietnam.
