By choosing the extended option you'll get to enjoy a scenic drive along the Athenian coastline, which includes passing by numerous beaches, a stop at the stunning Lake Vouliagmeni for a photo opportunity and a carte-postale-worthy photo stop next to the temple.

Our agency works with professional tour guides who are independent contractors. They are contracted for a duration of 4 hours per tour. The total duration of each tour, which ranges from 4 to 5 hours, takes into account the time spent on transportation from the client's pickup location and the traffic conditions on the booked date and time

Cape Sounio extension adds ~4-5 hours to the overall tour duration

Cape Sounio extension does not include professional tour guide and entrance fees, travellers are visiting the site by themselves and this portion of the tour is conducted by an english speaking, history-proficient driver and potentially a tour host depending on availability on the tour date

For operational reasons, the tour guide may meet you at the first archaeological site, and you will be picked up by your driver and transported to the guide's location to begin the tour there

The vehicle provided for our private tours depends on the size of your group, and all options are from the Mercedes luxury range, featuring brand-new models. This could be a 4-seater sedan, a 6-seater van, or a 15-seater minibus. In some cases, a larger vehicle than your group size may be used—for example, it's quite common to use a 15-seater minibus for groups with fewer than 15 participants

    You need to double check the pricing for this tour. This was a half-day tour for two people and I was charged $1072. When we finished the Athens part, the driver said we were entitled to go south to some sites that would take another four hours and we had no interest in that. I think the charge of $1072 was for Athens plus the trip south which we never signed up for and so I feel grossly overcharged. I'm trying to reach them to discuss a partial refund, but you know how that'll go.

    Great tour! We were picked up at the Port of Piraeus after a cruise, with the tour guide waiting with a sign to greet us. We immediately went to see the Acropolis and spent almost two hours there. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and made sure we had lots of breaks in the shade as we climbed the steps and viewed the Parthenon and other buildings. After the Acropolis stop, bottled water was provided back at the van and appreciated after the long walk in the hot weather. We left that area and then stopped for other photo opportunities as we were driven around Athens and then finally dropped off at our hotel.

    This tour was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, provided great information, and also had a photo book on hand which was really nice when explaining the sites. We visited the Olympic stadium, Presidential Palace, changing of the guards, Old University and Libarary, before heading to Acropolis and Parthenon. We spent about two hours touring the Acropolis and Parthenon. The driver was also very careful and made us feel safe. Highly recommend.
