You will follow one of the very picturesque roads of Austria with unforgettable views of magnificent Alpine nature. You will admire landscapes and colours of fabulous Hallstatt and definitely will be charmed by this spectacular town. It will be not possible to leave without making pictures on the wedding bridge of a white-snow Ort castle. These must-to-see places will help you discovering a delicate soul, a rich story and a natural beauty of the Austrian lake region.

Choose at least 24 hour before tour departure an option with free hotel pick-up, which starts approx. 45 min prior to departure.
Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to June 2026

5.00What a spectacular experience! Everything was smooth as far as hotel pickup and meeting back at the bus after stops. The guide was incredibly funny and smart and I learned a lot about the area that I never would have known. This was one of the best tours I’ve taken and I’d gladly do it again. Just perfect from start to finish! Playing the Sound of Music movie on the way back was so fitting and I loved it!

5.00Great excursion to the castle on the lake and Hallstatt. Our guide Dasha was very experienced and knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. It was a long day but a few stops helped and the scenery was great. Hallstatt was lovely as was the castle on the lake, a trip definitely worth doing, well done.

4.00The day trip to Hallstatt was elevated by Sophia’s great guidance and story telling. She was very sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. The short stops on the way over felt a bit rushed, but were nice choices and well spaced along the route. The boat ride was a small loop across the lake and back, offering nice views and warm gluhwein, but not too much in the way of a tour. Hallstatt has a 3 hr visitor time limit, so there was just time for a bit of lunch, a small walk around town, and to see the sweet churches. Very crowded as there were a number of tourist buses there together. Coach bus was clean and comfortable.

4.00It's a fantastic tour. I put 4 stars instead of 5 because the skywalk was included and it turns out to have been destroyed by the weather for a year. It is not something that was not known long ago and should have been updated on the web for future bookings.

5.00It was a great excursion, with lots of information about Vienna and Austria in general. I particularly liked the little stop at Chatezau d’Ort in the alley, even if it was fast! The other two “meal” stops were not necessary in my opinion. Hallstatt was magical at that time! I recommend the excursion

3.00Hallstatt was beautiful. The guide was so-so - a lot of talking on the bus and many of the jokes weren’t funny. The first comfort stop was mayhem. We had 30 min and were told to grab a snack but we ended up waiting in line for 15 of that so it was stressful. We also couldn’t eat on the bus. I don’t feel like the boat ride was worth 25 euros and the drive back was really long. We also didn’t learn from the guide that the bathroom vouchers gave you a discount if you bought something. I’m glad I went but wished it had been shorter with less people and less talking. The music that was played was lovely though and the bus driver was incredible.

5.00Long day but a great day. Hallstatt has incredible scenic beauty. We were so lucky to have huge, fluffy snowflakes!! Town looked like what you see in a snow globe. Sofia was our tour guide and was great.
