Your knowledgeable guide takes you to Greyfriar's Kirkyard, home of the famous Greyfriar's Bobby – nice dog – who had cocked his leg where rotting corpses lay below and whose names were made famous in many novels and history books, sending chills down many a reader's spine.
Then on to the infamous and haunted Niddry Street underground vaults, most haunted place in Edinburgh and probably one of the scariest in the world! Once home to the destitute, prostitutes, criminals, witches and a hell-fire club, and is possessed by something evil that awaits you

Vaults are accessed via a 2ft stair with further average size stairs inside the vaults.

3.00While this is a good way to hear some ghost stories and be able to see both the graveyards and a vault, I had to take some stars off because our guide started off way too early in the tour talking about being mad at other customers for not tipping him.

5.00We were fortunate and happy to secure a booking for our group last minute on a busy day during the festival. *Firstly* Starting location is a little undermarked for easy spotting as the building and corner is under construction. The address is supplied but a crossroad or identifying marker for those new to the area would be helpful! Our guide showed up early to check us all in and to start the journey. Diva was friendly, super informative, funny, knowledgeable and kept to the pace, ensuring safe walking and traffic safe travelling. She was a fantastic host and really made the tour so enjoyable. Please take advantage of these wonderful hosts and tours- to elevate your Edinburgh knowledge and experience. Thank you Diva!
