  I booked this photoshoot for a once-in-a-lifetime moment: celebrating my retirement after 23 years of military service and finally returning home. After booking, I received a message to confirm, and we had a conversation outlining expectations — which made me feel confident and excited. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into frustration. On the day of the shoot, I received a message just an hour before the scheduled time (2:30 PM). I responded within 30 minutes to confirm I was still coming and en route. Instead of honoring the appointment, I was told he would be unavailable until after 3 PM and followed it up with a comment about how “a lot of customers cancel last minute.” As a business owner myself, I understand the value of time. If someone is on my schedule, I show up — and if I need to cancel, I do so respectfully and with notice. That same professionalism was not extended to me. He simply didn’t show. What was meant to be a meaningful shoot turned into an mentoring session on “how run your business” If you consistently have this issue the customers are not the problem. This generalization was both unprofessional and unacceptable. Thankfully, my son stepped in and captured beautiful photos with my phone. I’m currently awaiting my refund, which I hope is processed promptly. Disappointed is an understatement. I do not recommend.
