Early trip, but well worth the excursion. Recommend the private pyramid tour to get the most out of the experience. It is a very tourist heavy area, and keep in mind many of the things at the cooperative you go to are also available all over the place. Be prepared to pay an additional fee of ~$100 USD for photos and drone footage.

The the hot air balloon experience was magical for my husband, myself and our two teenage boys. There were 100 balloons in the air at once and it was gorgeous to watch at sunrise! That said, it was a long day - we started with a 4:20am pickup at our hotel and were dropped off at 1pm. The tour operator was fantastic - very good communication, on time pickup, and not too much down time. The guide at the pyramids was very good too and that was just the right amount of time - 1 hour. I could have skipped the mezcal tasting part - not memorable - and the cave breakfast was very mediocre. But overall a wonderful experience!

Ballon ride was good. Driver and van had heavy smoke smell. Breakfast in the case is not good. Beef was so chewy. We want to change the order to eggs but the waiter did not let us.

Excellent! Exceeded expectations- fast & efficient transport to location: very quick and sleek operation to get balloons in air. Photo & drone footage was taken and purchased for reasonable price. Balloon ride was smooth and very enjoyable. View & sunrise were amazing. Breakfast in cave was nice - unique location. Mescal tasting/shop was ok, we did it quite fast so was fine. Highly recommend

It was our first time riding a Hot Air balloon and it was amazing! The crew was very nice, helpful and and made sure our we were safe for the entire ride. The whole experience was breathtaking and the views were very beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
