  From start to finish it was a very well oiled machine, the travel connections were seamless. The ground crew were amazing, conscious of the guests health and safety whilst revving up our excitement before the ride. They also scooped me up and placed me in the balloon as I'm a large lady with little upper body strength. Once in the air the pilot made funny chat and was pointing out the west bank places of interest... valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut's temple and a few others i can't remember the names of. The landing was smooth and controlled abs the transport team was on place ready to take us back to the hotel. There was a cameraman filming the whole trip and for a fee you can purchase it, but no pressure selling which was refreshing. One ticked off my bucket list.

  Fantastic experience. Disorganised on landing and I was put on wrong van. The view was astonishing. Be aware that when the burners are used it does feel like it's burning your head..but is okay! A bit cramped in the basket.

  The weather is a major factor. They had to cancel due to high wind. Decision was made early evening the night before so keep in touch with Hod Hod. Best way of contact may be through WhatsApp. Abdo was our contact. He was very helpful arranging which dock to pick us up from our river cruise. I would book with Hod Hod again and hope the weather cooperates.

  This was one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt seeing the sunrise was amazing. Tour guides picked us up on time and drop off was smooth

  This was a great experience! A highlight of our time in Egypt! We were picked up from our cruise ship on time and taken to the launch site. We had an excellent pilot, Omar, who flew us silently into the sunrise over the fertile fields with views of the many temples and the Nile in the distance. We were surrounded by about 40 other balloons and it was magical. Ride ended with such a smooth landing and we were returned to our ship in plenty of time for our early sailing. Highly recommend. Not to be missed!!
