  It was an amazing experience that was able to be tailored to meet our needs. Our guide, Hassan maghripy, was incredible! He was so knowledgeable and really knew had to take some incredible photos. Seeing the temples.....words cannot describe!!

  Our guide Khaled elsmaky arranged all of our stops and our day in luxor went well. He explained the history of every place, had our tickets and we never had to wait. Our lunch was delicious and he was willing to accommodate our requests. You will not be disappointed if you select him as your guide.

  We had a private ride with Khaled, very friendly. The guided tour began with the Valley of the Kings, followed by an alabaster stone craftsman’s shop from the Valley of the Kings (watch out for prices that can quickly climb), then hatshepsut temple. Then we took a lunch break in a good restaurant attached to the house of Edward carter then we continued to the temple of karnak (beautiful) then we visited a shop specializing in Egyptian cotton and we ended the tour by the temple of luxor.

  Good choice to cover the essential ancient Egyptian sights in Luxor. Our guide Hassan was a really good natured person, who was eager to adjust the trip to our needs and schedule. He did the tour in English with a rather strong accent, which made it sometimes difficult to catch everything over all the noise, but he kept patient and didn't get tired to repeat information until it was well received. The dinner was okay but not spectacular. Also drinks were not included. That's why one star is missing. Caddies at the sights themselves were also not included (25 EGP p.p.) which was somehow annoying, because it is so little money anyway.

  Atmospheric! If you’re going to Egypt you need to go here. We had a great guide - Nana who really helped to bring things to life!

  I reduced the rating to 4 instead of 5. The service was very good overall. However, the guide included in the package did not accompany us inside the locations where guides are allowed and explained only from outside. Everything else was satisfactory. In the itinerary, they added an extra place (Valley of the Queens), but it was closed for renovation as per their explanation, so we did not visit

  What a great day! We visited such amazing historical places - Karnak, Hatshepsut and Luxor Temples and Valley of the Kings. They all blew our minds with how the Egyptians were able to build such amazing places 1000’s of years ago! And how stunning they were and the stories that go with them were great. The trip also included a lovely lunch stop where the food was excellent (had to pay for drinks). It also stopped at an authentic factory where they produced hand-made decorative items. For us, this was the only slight negative of the tour as whilst interesting it was quite a hard sell. Nothing had prices on and when you decided to buy some items the guy gave you a price which was rather expensive … a pyramid tea light, 2 onyx shot glasses and a small pot = £210! We know there is bartering to be had but was a very steep starting position. We walked away without the shot glasses and paid £30 which in our mind was still a lot. We felt pressured. But this stopover didn’t detract enough from the rest of the day which is why I still rate as 5-star. I guess you don’t always get a one-on-one tour guide as it will depend on if others book the same trip but we certainly had the benefit of asking lots of questions to our guide (unfortunately don’t recall his name) which is more than you’d be able to do in a group setting. He was very knowledgable and friendly which all added to a brilliant day.

  We had the chance to share a day with Mansour an exceptional guide, passionate about the history of his country. We learned a lot of information, Mansour took the time to answer each of our questions. The meal shared together was the best of our stay in Egypt, and the setting of the restaurant very beautiful with the Valley of the Kings in the background.   The West side of Luxor is beautiful. Roshdy is a good guide - provides useful information and lets you really take as much time as you want - spent 20 minutes in King Tut’s tomb alone!
