The best way to experience Lake Como is by boat. A relaxing private boat will allow you to view this tranquil landscape from the water. As you float by, your guide will point out famous villas used as locations for Star Wars and James Bond movies along with the homes of international stars like George Clooney. You’ll also have plenty of time to take pictures or just take in the view with a refreshment from the onboard restaurant. This was a wonderful experience overall and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get the most out of a day trip! The coach bus was comfortable and had AC, which is needed on hot July days. The private cruise on Lake Como gave us the opportunity to see different century old villas and notable sites like the James Bond house. Walking around Bellagio is a dream. Don’t forget to stop for some gelato! After a nice lunch in Bellagio we crossed the Swiss border for some authentic Swiss chocolate and a Swiss beer lakeside. The day was something I will never forget. My only complaint is that if you are looking for this to be an informative “tour” opposed to just getting you to these places, think again. Although the tour guide was a nice, funny woman, my friend and I couldn’t hear anything she was saying 90% of the trip. She spoke low and went off on random tangents between thoughts, so it was not easy to understand or even follow along with what she was saying. Once I gave up trying to hear her, I was much happier with the experience.

Excellent tour, beautiful scenery, great tour guide. Lake como and Bellagio were fantastic. Lugano was ok, mainly just shopping to do with very few gift/souvenir shops. But overall a great tour.

Sara was our tour guide. She spent a great deal of time sharing her opinions (not necessarily relevant to the tour) including being a climate change denier which as tourists that’s not what we are there for. Too munch time on the bus. We only had 1 hour in Switzerland. The tour says it’s approximately 10 1/2 hours. It was only 9. I’d let people know before hand to expect to see the scheduled chocolate shop and a short walk as there isn’t enough time to do anything else in Switzerland. If the tour was truly the 10 1/2 hours stated on the booking we could have explored and experienced Switzerland. That’s not what happened.
