The day tour starts when you meet your English-speaking guide in central Milan. From there, a private air-conditioned coach will take you across the border to Switzerland through stunning scenery and your guide will be on hand to fill you in on the sights.
Lake Como
The best way to experience Lake Como is by boat. A relaxing private boat will allow you to view this tranquil landscape from the water. As you float by, your guide will point out famous villas used as locations for Star Wars and James Bond movies along with the homes of international stars like George Clooney. You’ll also have plenty of time to take pictures or just take in the view with a refreshment from the onboard restaurant. Arriving back in Milan in time for dinner, you won’t believe you managed to see so much in one day, and without ever feeling rushed.

5.00We added this tour to our experience of Milan to enjoy nature outside the great city, marvel at the famous Como and Lugano lakes' views and a relaxing "private boat" ride. Even with not so nice of a boat and a constant hurrying from one stop to another we enjoyed the view. That part is worth the trip. The service could be improved. The driver was super unfriendly and the guide dedicated herself to a part of the group. Originally the tour was described as 10hr duration but it lasted barely 7 hrs and that is only because we had to wait on the road due to an accident that happened ahead of us. We did not have enough free time in Bellagio ( not a promised one hour) and barely enough time in Lugano. What happened to 1h Bellagio, 2hr Lugano and another 1h to explore new sites ? Always in a hurry! The guide was encouraging us:" "Oh, you have plenty of time to shop and to eat..." We felt hurried and not very special... For the amount we paid we thought we would rent a car next time. However, the views were mesmerizing!!!! we enjoyed all the sites we drove through, took pictures of and were able to glance at!

5.00Sara was the best guide I could ever asked for! What a positive attitude and lovely personality! The trip was amazing but would have not been the same without her. I’ve been taking tour after tour for the past 20 days all over Italy, and Sarah made this one my very favorite!

4.00This was a chartered bus tour and a great way to spend the day exploring the lake area outside of Milan. I would suggest spending less time in Belaggio and more time in Lugano, as there was more to see and do there.

5.00Tour was great! Lake Como was amazing and Lugano was also a very interesting spot. The tour guide, Amato, was wonderful. He was very clear with his communications and was very knowledgeable. He also kept the tour going at a good unrushed pace. In addition one member of our group of 6, became ill at the very end of the tour. He showed compassion and went out of his way to help us. Giuseppe, the bus driver also showed much skill in transporting us to the various locations.
