Enjoy a day brimming with scenic beauty, legends and history of the Garden Island. Journey down the meandering, tranquil Wailua River on an open air boat ride culminating at exquisite Fern Grotto where you'll be serenaded by the Hawaiian Wedding Song. Gaze at the vast expanse of Waimea Canyon from key lookout points on the ascent. The deep red cliffs were described by Mark Twain as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific". Visit sprawling Kauai Coffee Plantation and Spouting Horn Blowhole where sea water spectacularly jettisons through openings in lava rock.

Board a spacious, open-air boat and cruise down Kauai's Wailua River encircled by miles of lush trees and tropical plants. Cool breezes lull you as the captain shares stories of ancient Hawaii when the river was flanked by multiple Hawaiian heiau (temples).

Everything about the trip was wonderful. The river boat ride with the music seeing the canyon the waterfalls It was all fantastics and the guide was full of life.

Fantastic! Sally, our driver, was the key to success on this tour. She’s very informative and knowledgeable about everything local. Her laugh was my favorite part of the tour, infectious! The whole van was laughing.
Had a professional driver drive us to all the hot spots and learned so many things about the island.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the wonder of the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” the scenic boat ride along the Wailua River, and much more — all without the stress of driving. John, our driver and a proud Kauai native, was absolutely fantastic! His expert driving and warm commentary made our day at Waimea Canyon truly unforgettable, helped by a beautiful sunny day. Thank you, John, for your kindness and attentiveness! One small suggestion: I would shorten the lunch break to about an hour, so there’s a bit more time to enjoy the many wonders this island has to offer.

How lame the river boat trip was. The canyon part was great as was the driver/guide Sabrina. Lunch was very good as well as doing a little shopping

We had the most fantastic driver/guide. Miss K was THE BEST. Her stories and insight into life on Kauai was wonderful. It really is the best island in Hawaii.

What a fantastic day!!!!! Such a mix of different things to see. But all of them so cool, so beautiful, breathtaking, enlightening and part of God's glory. Sabrina our guide was the most amazing human. She gave us so much information, but she also just makes you fell like she is your best friend. This tour is a must for anyone.

Perfect weather - great trip, only downside was my ability to understand our tour driver clearly. Okay for a short trip - but on an all day excursion it can get tiring trying to strain to understand what the driver was saying.
