Contrary to the name "Secret Falls" Uluwehi Falls has become the most popular waterfall destinations on Kauai. The paddle and hike will take some physical effort but we make everything else easy. We will provide the best hassle-free service on the river, No having to car top a bulky rental kayak and hunt for parking at the State Park. All you have to do is show up at our exclusive location and it's fun time! Our guides will setup all your equipment and will stay with you every step of the way. Adventure seekers should be comfortable in the water and should expect a 4-mile round trip paddle and a moderate 2-mile hike to the waterfall.

Participants who are not physically fit to walk moderate to strenuous trail with an elevation increase to 465 feet in under 2 miles.
Footwear that secures or straps to your feet are required (for safety crocs or flip flops are not allowed).

**This is not an easy kayak/hike adventure, but the destination is worth the effort. Your guided Kayak Adventure starts with a moderate 2 mile paddle upstream through the scenic valley of the Wailua River. After securing your kayaks on the shores of the North Fork, your moderate to strenuous 1.5 mile hike begins (proper foot wear are required). Wade through multiple streams, a lush rainforest and traverse over muddy trails all the while learning about local flora and fauna from one of our friendly and knowledgeable guides. Your hiking trek concludes with the beautiful 120′ Uluwehi Falls, a.k.a. Secret Falls. A definite rock solid adventure!

5.00It is physically intensive. If you have a bad back, shoulder, ankle, etc. Do not risk injury and waste the time of others. Stay home! If you love a physically challenging kayak experience, a hardy trek through the rainforest, and a cool dip in a waterfall pool then this is the experience for you. Again, know your own limits and be prepared for a full day of physical activity. Bring snacks, water, juice, sunblock, and bug repellent. Also bring a good attitude because you will be with the same group for 4-5 hours. Ask plenty of questions and for help when needed and the employees will be happy to assist. I would definitely recommend this to active adults, kids 12+, and couples.

5.00Beautiful kayak trip and hike. Sam, our guide, was very knowledgeable and we learned about different plants and trees along the way. The waterfall was very pretty. Overall, a fun experience.

4.00Me and my husband chose to take this guide instead of renting canoes and going out by ourselves and thank goodness, we would have gotten lost, the group tour was very fun, the canoe ride and the hike to the falls beautiful, while having a snack at the Falls, we got another special treat, one of the guides that was born in Kauai gave a prayer to the falls, to the ancestors, the Queen, he said at the end that he does this to teach the young generation to respect the land and to keep family traditions alive, to remember to honor those who came before us, it was such a unexpected surprise, everyone should experience if possible.

4.00Fun kayak and hike to a good location. Guide was good. Nature was good :) I did not like that they only have double kayaks and essentially force you to pair up with someone you don’t know. My son got paired with someone who could barely paddle or steer. The kayaks are pretty old and don’t have working dry compartments. Fine but would have been helpful and seems typical on even basic rentals. This is an expensive trip I would assume more.
