  Mohammed made the tour very interesting. Learning the stories and history behind the art really brought it to life. He pointed out lesser known but still very important works of art. Would definitely recommend him, even with reluctant teens as part of our group.

• Less impressive than expected

  The tour guides split our family of 7 into 2 groups, mixing us with other people. In the end, the 2 groups' sizes were 5 and 6. It made it difficult to reconnect with each other afterward. Why they couldn't have kept our family - who were all booked together as 1 group - together and had one group of 7 and another group of 4, I'm not sure. Perhaps neither guide had 7 headsets? Also, our tour guide gave us a little history, but not much, about each piece we visited. She repeated the same facts several times, but left it at that. My husband's guide seems to have been more informative. That was frustrating. Another frustrating aspect of our tour was thst her mic was placed off to one side of her jacket, making it harder to hear her whenever her head was turned another direction. Finally, a lady in our group asked the guide to move the mic to a central spot, and that helped. My husband's guide held his mic close to his mouth any time he spoke, which was a wiser choice. Lastly, I had thought the tour would be 2.5 hours long. Both of our groups ended after a scant 2 hours, or barely longer than that in my husband's case. So... perhaps I was wrong about the expected time? I asked our guide, who kept telling us how awesome the Egyptian section was, if she could show us her favorite pieces there, thinking we still had 30 more minutes. She refused, and the tour was simply over after that. It was annoying! So, is the tour 2 or 2.5 hours? Overall, my kids saw the highlights of the Louvre, which is what the tour was billed as, but NO more. And the info presented about each piece was something, but less than I'd hoped for. I'd book it again, but hope for a different guide next time. Oh! And the grand finale of issues is that I had no cash, but thankfully the tour guide had a virtual option. When I tried to leave her a tip, however, it wouldn't let me because my phone number isn't French! Sorry, guide, I honestly tried!

  Mr. Monty … was an excellent tour guide. He provided insightful historical context and shared engaging facts about the key artifacts at the Louvre!

  Monty our guide was amazing ! He was very informative and helped us skip the lines and gave us a great background of all the sculptures and paintings . Would recommend him a lot !!!

  Thank you Monty for taking us through the Louvre with interesting stories and great efficiency. Monty knew just where to stand to get the best views of the Mona Lisa and a family photo with Venus de Milo. So glad we booked this tour to simplify an overwhelming museum.

  Great experience, Mo was fantastic with her storytelling about the artwork and knowledge of history and Greek mythology. I highly recommend her tour.
