It all starts with a warm cup of tea or coffee before jumping right into the crafting of your own Buttery Croissant, Pain au Chocolat (or chocolate croissant) and the Pain au Raisin ! Small groups of 8 allow the chef to follow closely how you learn new skills and knowledge.
First, discover the equipment, the ingredients, and the theory behind the making of the croissant. You will be making it from scratch with quality ingredients we selected from our local producers.
Then kneading the predough is where it all begins. You will provide the last ingredient with the rolling pin as you roll out the finished dough from which you will shape your own pastries! Time will do the rest while they rest and bake.
It all ends well with the tasting of what you have baked and the always instructive chat about your trip to Paris. We, as chefs, are very happy to give you our culinary advice, recommendations, and opinions and also learn from you. Don’t forget to take away the leftovers!

Our instructor/chef was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. This activity turned out to be a highlight of our trip to Paris. We had a wonderful time and our croissants were the best I have ever eaten. Buttery, flakey and warm from the oven. I would love to do this again.

Enjoyable experience for older kids and adults. Matteo was a wonderful instructor! You go through the whole croissant making process. Everyone got to take lots of yummy goodies with them when the experience was over.

We had Alyssa as our instructor and she was phenomenal! Her instructions were very clear and she thoroughly demonstrated each step as well. We did this class towards the beginning of our trip and had plenty of pastries to enjoy the whole week! Very accessible via metro, about a 5 minute walk from the nearest station. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Paris.

During the tour, we utilized pre-prepared dough to accommodate the necessary setting time required for baking, which is both understandable and expected. However, it was surprising to learn that the dough had been prepared by students from the previous day’s class. While I appreciate the hands-on nature of the experience, I have concerns regarding food safety and hygiene standards when consumable products are carried over and handled by prior participants. I believe this practice warrants reconsideration to ensure the health and comfort of all guests.

this was an excellent class in making croissants (inckuding the chocolate kind!)....Dephine was a masterful chef and teacher, from start to finish, engaging, knowledgable and helpful. I highly recommend her class.
