It all starts with a warm cup of tea or coffee before jumping right into the crafting of your own Buttery Croissant, Pain au Chocolat (or chocolate croissant) and the Pain au Raisin ! Small groups of 8 allow the chef to follow closely how you learn new skills and knowledge.
First, discover the equipment, the ingredients, and the theory behind the making of the croissant. You will be making it from scratch with quality ingredients we selected from our local producers.
Then kneading the predough is where it all begins. You will provide the last ingredient with the rolling pin as you roll out the finished dough from which you will shape your own pastries! Time will do the rest while they rest and bake.
It all ends well with the tasting of what you have baked and the always instructive chat about your trip to Paris. We, as chefs, are very happy to give you our culinary advice, recommendations, and opinions and also learn from you. Don’t forget to take away the leftovers!

I'm a very good home chef and have also cooked professionally in the past. I came with a very good basic knowledge of the subject matter, however baking has never been my strength. I have always felt intimidated when making puff pastry dough and it has never worked out, so I decided to come into Paris for the day to take class. I was very impressed with how the class was organized from start to finish and with Lauryn's instruction. She was awesome and at the end of the day, I now have new skills and the confidence to make Puff Pastry at home.

This was a great experience. Our teacher, Delphin, was absolutely fantastic. She explained the process, let us try techniques on our own, but was there to help us along the way, and made sure it was a fun time, overall. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to try out a cooking class.

Delphine is an engaging hostess and teacher with a quick wit and a mastery of her craft that she patiently uses to instill a spark of curiosity into even the most novice students. The experience is so much fun, and quite educational. I will return for another class on another trip.

We booked this class since it was the only one operating on a Sunday, and we are so glad we did. We also selected the location by Norte Dame .. very easy to find. Our instructor Guilamme was excellent and super friendly and taught us how to make croissants. Our group was small ... 7 in total but we never felt rushed or cramped for space. Free coffee, water and tea are given and of course after you can eat as many croissants as you want. We started at 9 am and ended around 11:00 am. It was a lot of fun, not cheap by any means but we enjoyed it and would recommend it to family and friends.
