Just before 8 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel (or airport). Marrakech to Merzouga 3 days started early in the morning, at 7:30 a.m. To begin, the Marrakech desert tours 3 days will begin with a journey to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou. You will pass via the Tizi Ntichka pass on the route, which is a concrete pass built between and above massive mountain constructions, notably the High Atlas Mountains. After lunch in ait Benhaddou, we went to the Boumalne Dades via the Valley of the Roses, a lovely green field covered with different varieties of Moroccan flowers, before arriving at the Dades Valley hotel where to have to spend supper and sleep overnight. When traveling through Dades Valley, it’s a good idea to pull down your windows and smell the flowers. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to get some rose oil, which is one of the country’s top exports.

To begin, the car will go down the 1001 Kasbahs Road, commonly known as the Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs. It is so named because there are several Kasbahs along the route. Arrived Tinghir, in Southeast Morocco, is where you’ll discover the Todgha River Banks. You may enjoy a great, leisurely walk. Berber Villages are residences perched above lush vegetation and rice terraces, the polar opposite of the regular sand-riddled highways and dunes. The Todgha Gorges, on the other hand, are the area’s principal draw.

Then, the drive continues – onto Merzouga.You will arrive in Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco’s most spectacular sand dunes oceans. You’ll run into your camel caravan at the end of the route. This was such an amazing experience! Abdul and Karim were amazing guides!!! So funny and they played music and danced with us in the car rides. The food was great, the transportation was smooth, and we stayed at really really nice accommodations. Definitely the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced!

I did the 3-day Merzouga Sahara tour and it was honestly way better than I expected. The long drives were worth it, and our guide Said and Abdo made the trip feel like we were traveling with friends rather than strangers, Abdo is super knowledgeable and explained everything along the way, while Said kept the energy up and always checked on everyone. Camel riding into the dunes at sunset was unreal, the camp was clean and comfortable, and the nights with music and stars were the best part. If you’re thinking about doing the desert trip, do it especially if you get Said and Abdo.

This trip was absolutely amazing - Abdo was an amazing driver/guide, always so friendly and had great knowledge. Definitely worth doing if you are looking for an excursion whilst in a Marrakech; the Sahara desert was incredible, and it’s definitely worth choosing the Luxury Camp option as you’re located in the Sahara desert and your tents are literally like hotel rooms. You have to pay extra for the quad biking but it’s an absolute must and we loved it :)

This has actually been the best trip I’ve ever been on. Hassan and Hisham were genuinely SO helpful and did everything they could to make our trip so memorable and fun. 2 camel rides (or sub for ATV during the sunrise), music, tent, and the hotel the first night was insane.
