5.00Driver was over 45 minutes late for the pickup, which was rather frustrating given how early we were due to start, and there was absolutely no communication to advise me of a revised expected time. If I hadn't bought my park pass and wasn't so keen to see the baby elephants, then I probably given up and spent the day writing dirty emails to TripAdvisor asking for compensation. Certainly other people I know would have done so!!! That said: Jonathan was a great guide - very informative and passionate about giving myself and the other trip-goers a good day. We saw far more animals in the park than I'd expected, including close-up encounters with several rhino and giraffe, plus more distant views of wildebeest and a lion. Baby elephants were super-cute, and feeding the giraffe was a very unique experience.

2.00Unfortunately, this day-long tour was disappointing. Early in the trip, the van broke down. While the driver handled the situation calmly, a mechanical failure suggests a lack of proper preventive maintenance and preparation. After about ten minutes, we were shuffled into other unrelated vehicles. The driver was also not very knowledgeable about the animals or birds we encountered, and rarely pointed out interesting sights. When things were mentioned, they were almost never explained, which significantly reduced the educational value of the tour. Finally, the vehicles were extremely uncomfortable. Both the van that broke down and its replacement were very jarring — the first one on the dirt roads in the park and the one that was sent to replace it. A jarring ride on the dirt park roads might be expected — except that the vehicle they shunted us to was noticeably smoother and more comfortable, highlighting how poor the original vehicle was. The final replacement vehicle provided was tiny and incredibly uncomfortable even on the asphalt roads of the city. Overall, this experience did not meet expectations for a professional safari/tour operation.

5.00Henry Safari was absolutely amazing. From the get go, he was chill, welcoming, and made everyone feel comfortable. He’s great with all ages, from kids to adults, and really knows how to set the vibe by playing good music during the trip. He thoughtfully provided water, always arrived on time to every location, and knew the best photo spots. We also visited cultural arts locations, including the bead and leather factory, which was a great experience. Lunch was well organized, and he was very accommodating to our requests and interests. Highly recommended for a relaxed, well planned, and enjoyable safari experience.

2.00ELEPHANT SANCTUARY + Did enjoy the elephant sanctuary, was definately cute! SAFARI - Drivers are agressively invading personal space of hunting lions (guess this is + for the pray as they are aware of them) but the lions do not stand a chance to hunt. Drivers enclose the lions between jeeps for tourist photo ops. BETTER CHOICES Would not recommend this park. For a great experience where drivers do respect the wildlife definately choose amboseli or masai mara instead!
