Out tour guide Maria was very nice! She was very knowledgeable and gave us a great experience during the tour. The only remark is that the bus taking us back to Athens was very crammed and sitting was not really comfortable (for a 4 hour drive).

Overall experience was WONDERFUL..!! Starting from boarding point, everything was on time, a break for nice breakfast with lots of options at kids friendly restaurant and delicious Lunch definitely worth for the money paid..after Lunch, the tour guide for monasteries visit was fantastic, she spoke very good n clean english, narrated interested stories about the places visited...at the end she was very kind to organise a short trip to a super market (to buy milk for my kids, as next day was a holiday), very nice gesture... I would definitely recommend this tour operators to anyone. About the places, it's definitely 1000% worth it, meteora world is so mesmerizing...don't miss it. - Prakash Joga

Before I arrived I received the directions to reach the meeting point, by metro it was very easy to get there, also they sent me a map that made it easy to find the place at the end. The bus was very comfortable, you had to get on and off many times during the day, it was not really a problem. Both outbound and back, there is a stopover to buy something to eat and use toilets, that place is chaos, many tours arrive at once, there are long lines to buy food, either way the stop is appreciated. Guide Clemence, it was excellent! He has a very proactive attitude, all the time he is taking care of the members of the group, counts and counts so as not to forget anyone on the scales. Your English is very clear and easy to understand. He's well prepared. Access to the monasteries costs five euros each, that is not included in the Tour fee. In monasteries there are toilets, it costs one euro to use. The meal paid at the time of booking cost €12, it is possible to pay there but at the price of €15. It wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special, in fact quite regular... it doesn't include drinks... The return is after 10 pm, it is tired but I am very worth it, it is a wonderful place!

Maria is an awesome guide, she is very informative that made the long trip very interesting. The drive was warm, can use a little more AC but overall is decent. I recommend this tour!

It was a great trip! The journey was long-but it was definitely worth it. In the monasteries you have to climb many stairs depending on which one you visit.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion! Our guide, Clement, is extremely knowledgeable, and we were fascinated to learn about the history of the monasteries and see the incredible views. It truly was a breathtaking experience and is a must-do adventure. Also- highly recommend purchasing the lunch option ahead of time. It was 8€ when buying the ticket online, or 15€ in-person for the same food options.

The old saying goes "It's not the destination, it's the journey". That saying does NOT apply here. Let's be honest, 8 hours in a big bus and 5 in a smaller bus isn't fun for anyone. HOWEVER, the destination, the sights, the experience, the workout (be ready) are ABSOLUTELY worth it. We worried about looking at too many pictures before our trip for fear of spoiling the experience. NOT POSSIBLE. The tour starts with a full size bus from Athens to Kalambaka. Get to the bus more than 15 minutes ahead if you are traveling with anyone you want to sit with. The description said there would be USB charging ports but there were none. **BRING A BACKUP CHARGER** Also, as an fyi, the description of our tour said lunch would be at a seaside restaurant with island view. IT WAS NOT. Expect no commentary from the driver, you just get on and get off when told. After the ride to Kalambaka, and the 30 minute stop for food around 10am, you disembark the big bus and have another meal (roughly 12:30 or so and as a side note, no beverages are included with the meal....none) before getting on the smaller van/bus. Note that ours also had no USB charging and unfortunately the AC didn't work for 2/3 of us (not good after climbing 300 steps to the first monastery). We had a great tour guide (Maria) who was clearly very passionate about and well informed on the history and future of the area. She was wonderful, and the Monasteries and scenery, simply breathtaking...... Thank you Maria! Again, bring a backup charger for your phone, as more than one person's phone ran out of juice by day's end (no USB ports on either bus as indicated) After the 5ish hour tour of the Monasteries it's back to Kalamabaka to get back on the big bus for the 4 hour drive (and dinner stop at same non-seaside location) back to Athens. Good idea to have Freenow app for booking a cab upon return to Athens to get back to wherever you are staying. Many busses offload folks at the train station at the same time, so scramble for a cab is otherwise difficult. Again, 8 hours in a big bus and 5 in a smaller bus isn't fun for anyone. HOWEVER, the destination, the sights, the experience, the workout (be ready) are ABSOLUTELY worth it.
