Castle Hohenschwangau is located at the base of Neuschwanstein castle so we see both of them at the same time. We do not usually tour the inside of the this palace but we do get to see it from the outside.

5.00This was a great family day tour. Communication was great before and during the tour. Got to see a small village church, the castle, great Austrian lunch, and the alpine coaster. Checked all the boxes we wanted and got to see outside of Munich.

5.00We booked the Neuschwanstein Castle tour with Mike’s Bike Tours, and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our entire trip. Our guide, Alex, was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge was incredible — he knew the history, stories, and hidden details of every town, village, and landmark we passed through. But what made the day truly special was the way Alex guided us: it never felt like we were following a tour guide… it honestly felt like spending the day with a friend who genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing time. He was relaxed, engaging, funny, and always ready with interesting insights that brought each place to life. From the stunning views to the smooth organization, to the perfect pacing of the entire trip, everything was spot on. 5.00Siegmund was a great tour guide - very knowledgeable and helped us navigate around all the big groups for a more personal tour experience. Beautiful views, castles, and food were the highlights - he knew exactly where to go and when. We also bought a souvenir that we left in his vehicle and he went out of his way to ship it back to America. Highly recommend this private tour!

5.00Alex was wonderful and personable as our tour guide. He was prompt with picking us up at our hotel, very knowledgeable of all the places we toured, took us to a great Restaurant in Austria for a fantastic lunch. He stopped several times along the tour so we could take pictures of amazing places. The tour covered everything we had hoped to see and more. Such beautiful scenery and the weather was nice. There was a little confusion about paying in cash but Alex worked with us to resolve that. Our family would highly recommend this tour, especially with Alex.

5.00Mike was incredibly knowledgable of local and historical tidbits and kept the tour interesting! His lunch recommendation at Austria and for our dinner after in Old Town Munich were excellent, so ask him for food tips, etc. Booking this tour is very convenient and worth it, I highly recommend!
