Great tour! Jeremy is a wonderful guide. He is enthusiastic and he took a lot of care to make sure that no one was left behind. He answered a bunch of questions and gave us helpful information about restaurants and shops.

It was a great day in Salzburg. Our walking tour gave us a great feel for the area that Mozart grew up in. It was unfortunate for us that it was a holiday and all of the unique shops were closed. But we will need to come back.

  • Salzburg trip not enough time

The trip was average. Reasons why not given a five star was that we were in a group of 24 and couldn’t hear anything the guide said. Also we only had 3 hours of free time to eat lunch sight see and shop. This isn’t long enough for this beautiful place. We also were disappointed that the sound of music sites didn’t include the Hellbrun palace. We thought the bus would drive by it but the bus ride is only on the city bus not a tour bus. The trip should start an hour earlier and depart Salzburg an hour later. Salzburg was amazingly beautiful and one could spend a couple days here. I would recommend going there by train on your own early in the morning and doing the 4 hour sound of music tour and then spending the rest of the day in town returning back to Munich after a nice dinner.

Salzburg is such a beautiful and spectacular city—just walking the streets was magical. Our guide, Jeremy, did a fantastic job managing the transportation on the public train and bus. We always knew when and where to be with no stress. He also did a fantastic job giving us an overview of the old city and recommending things to do during the free time based on our interests. We chose to eat a nice meal, take the cograil up to the fortress, enjoy an ice cream in the square and tour the many shopping streets and alleys. There was certainly more to do in Salzburg than can be fit into the 3 hours free time, and we chose to have a relaxed and truly spectacular afternoon.

Very good experience, you know the most emblematic points of the small town and old town... highly recommended!
