• Fantastic experience in Salzburg with great guides - Cristian & Elizabeth

  Elizabeth & Cristian were fantastic guides and ensured we got the best out of our trip to Salzburg. I firstly have to note that we travelled by bus rather than train due to construction works on the train line, but the communication of the change was excellent & notified several days in advance. The commentary on the way there was great and provided great insight on the locations along the way - I’m not sure we would have had the same detail on the train. The walking tour in Salzburg was great - enough to help us orientate ourselves with the city & to see the most notable sites. It was also full of recommendations of things to do, places to visit and eat. Our tour coincided with the Christmas markets which were amazing and I could easily have stayed longer, and for me this was the highlight of the tour. I cannot recommend this tour more highly, especially when the Christmas markets are operational

  Our trip to Salzburg was absolutely wonderful and very well organized. We traveled by bus from Munich, and our guides, Elizabeth and Cristian, made the experience exceptional. Elizabeth was incredibly informative—she shared fascinating details about the history of Bavaria and Salzburg, and her explanations truly brought the city to life. Cristian also provided excellent insight throughout the day. We are a family of three visiting from Chicago with an eight-year-old daughter, and both guides were extremely accommodating, especially when our child needed frequent restroom breaks. Their patience and kindness made the trip even more enjoyable. I was lucky to have Elizabeth as my direct guide, and she recommended some fantastic spots in the city. We visited all of them and loved every place she suggested. We will definitely be returning to Salzburg to explore more of the hidden gems we didn’t have time to see this time. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

  Markus was a great guide. The trains and bus were tricky, and he kept us all together even though the logistics were challenging. He was informative and funny with a droll sense of humor. I would sign up for another tour he did.

  Christian was our tour guide on our day trip to Salzburg, Austria. Not only did he do an excellent job of showing us the sites of Salzburg, he is an amazing person who is very knowledgeable of the area. On top of that, he is a very genuine person who we enjoyed being around. Highly recommend Christian as a guide!

  An informative guide through Salzburg and its history. A well organised and thought out experience. With a guide, Jeremy, who was able to navigate the problems caused by the German train system expertly and quickly.

• Amazing way to spend a day

  Such an amazing day spent in Salzburg! We could not have asked for better weather for a November day. The train ride was very scenic and passed through several smaller, older towns and had a terrific view of some mountains along the way providing a glimpse of the view from Salzburg. Our tour guide, Cristian (Radius Tours) was extremely knowledgeable, spoke multiple languages, provided some excellent recommendations for food while we were there, and was just an overall amazing person! Would highly recommend finding out when he is going to be the tour guide and sign up for that day. If you're going to go, be sure to check out the view from the fortress (Festung-Hohensalzburg) as it provides an amazing view of the Alps that aren't visible from the city. The funicular wasn't operating on the day that we were there, but the view from the top was well worth the climb up the ramps and stairs.

  Suzanne was an outstanding guide, very informative, answering all of our questions and pointing out distinct historic sites and cultural customs. We wish we could have extended the tour!

  A great experience and Salzburg is a lovely place to visit. Jeremy our tour guide was amazing, very knowledgable and made the journey very safe and worry free. A must do trip.
