Aloha, We had an absolutely magical day on our day tour to the Romantic Road, Harburg Castle and the Medieval town of Rothenburg. It snowed during our visit, which made the experience more enchanting, the vibrant colors of the towns looked incredible against the white snow made it a photographer’s and took so many beautiful photos. Our guide, Hanae, was awesome! She was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves the whole time. Our driver was excellent and kept us safe on the long journey from Munich. We highly recommend this tour if you want a fairytale experience. Mahalo! L and L Travels with Aloha

This is a full day adventure. I enjoyed seeing Harburg castle and the tour guide there was excellent. She was thoughtful, animated and well-educated on the castle. Rothenburg was a delightful little town with lots of small shops. Highly recommend Pullivers as the place to stop for lunch during the trip. One small note about the terrain, its not for those that aren't comfortable with hills, stairs or uneven ground.

Definitely book this trip if you want a fun, stress-free trip through some Bavarian highlights. We booked the experience because we wanted easy transportation to Rothenburg, but we were pleasantly surprised how well managed the experience was. We had a guided tour of Hamburg castle which exceeded expectations. Though admission is extra, we appreciated how helpful our tour guide and bus driver were. Once in Rothenburg, I appreciated that we were given free time to explore (so you don't feel boxed into a tour). We had about 3 hours, which was more than enough to eat and explore! But really, the real stand out was Hanae, our amazing tour guide. She filled the multi hour bus drive with fun information about the area, helped offer suggestions for things to do in Rothenburg, and was ready to answer any questions our group had. I would definitely recommend this tour to any one who wants a fun day trip from Munich!

Overall good tour but did not enjoy the guide Pedro. He sold drinks for cash as a side hustle on the bus, including alcohol, which encouraged rowdy bus goers and was very unhelpful and borderline rude with a food situation at the restaurant he reccomended. Would reccomend the trip but with someone who actually wants to tell you about the history and culture of the area instead of making more money off you.

We went for the Christmas Markets and they were great. The town is so nice and lots of shops. The food in any restaurant will be great. The Christmas market food was very good. I love the fried mushrooms with garlic sauce. We did the night watchman tour it was very interesting and worth every penny.

Our Rothenburg tour with Monica was absolutely amazing! She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history come alive. Her passion for the city really showed, and we learned so much while having fun. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

The itinerary itself is good, but our guide was not helpful. Harburg Castle does require quite a few stairs (not as many as Neuschwenstein) but our guide said it was all 1 level. Rothenburg is an amazing little place to see. The timing or our visit coincided with 100 other bus tours. It was so busy and near impossible to find our bus. The amount of time to explore was not enough. It was too crowded to enjoy.

Harburg Castle was just ok. I would have much preferred to skip it and spend more time in Rothenburg. This town was absolutely beautiful, but because it is Christmas market season, it was extremely crowded. This is why I wish we had been given more time there instead of Harburg. I didn’t get to see nearly as much of the town as I liked. Our tour operator was sweet, but kudos goes to our bus driver. The gig was super thick and he got us there and back to Munich safely.
