Enjoy the green landscape from our state from our panoramic windows. See the famous romantic road from our comfortable seats.

Our first stop reaches the medieval castle Harburg. This is a very well-preserved baroque construction. Our guides give you an overview about the thirty-year-war and other historical events.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a charming and famous town in Bavaria, in the South of Germany.

The half-timbered houses, the Medieval Wall around the city and the Ploenlein are some of the attractions you'll find there.

This city is one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Bavaria and full of inspiring spots.

There's plenty of free time at each stop, so for lunch and exploring at your own leisurely pace.

You'll find christmas ornaments in Rothenburg all the year through.

Wonderful day traveling the romantic road to see two beautiful historic places. Although it happened to be windy and rain for a portion of the day, we had a splendid time and were fortunate enough to visit on one of the medieval days where the locals dressed in historic garbs and marched in a memorable parade.

The scenery is beautiful! The tour guide talked too much and was very repetitive. I would suggest this trip be taken on your own, a tour guide is not necessary.

I have done many of these tours in different countries. This one was just eh. Felt like it was lack luster. They also didn't give you the heads up that Euros are required. We were told once on the bus they would be collecting $$ for the castle tour. No Euros yet, i had just got in town, so I couldn't do the castle tour. I don't feel like I missed much. I have seen well kept medieval castles before. Dissapointing...

Jacqueline was very entertaining and great timing with some funny jokes. The Harburg Castle guide Tarten was also great. And our driver handled the 3 hour delay due to the autobahn closure very well. Thank goodness it opened and he got his back safely.

  • A Great Way to Travel to Delightful Rothenberg

This experience provides a great way to travel to Rothenberg if you don’t wish to rent a car or take the train. After reviewing the train schedule and the location of the Rothenberg train station, I would not recommend the train. This is a lot of driving for an hour at Harburg Castle and three hours in Rothenberg, but well worth - Rothenberg is delightful. Our guide, Pedro, was fine - very clear with logistics and getting us to the town center with a great lunch recommendation.
