5.00Our guide, Pedro was fantastic. The pacing of the trip was excellent. We went to Harburg castle, which was very interesting. The local guide was wonderful. After the tour ended, Pedro realized that we needed more time and gave us an extra 10 minutes to get back to the bus so that we would have time for bathroom and gift shop. Then we went on to Rothenburg, which is beautiful. Pedro recommended a restaurant for lunch, which was delicious. He pointed out different places to explore. The town is beautiful and interesting. We had adequate time for exploration and shopping. He made sure that everyone made it to the bus. There were 2 women who did not arrive by the time we were supposed to and he went and found them in a few minutes. He gave us a lot of interesting information, answered all our questions. We were very happy with him as our guide and enjoyed the trip.

4.00Rothenburg is one of the most amazing and beautiful towns we have ever visited. Knowing that generations of people have worked to restore and maintain the town’s medieval history is quite inspiring and comforting. We enjoyed both the restaurants and the shops too. The highlight is the wall around the city. Harburg Castle was also a real pleasure to tour.
