What To Expect
Schloss Neuschwanstein
Meeting Point: 08:10 AM: Karsplatz Stachus 21/Sonnenst. Munich next to Buddy Hotel. Live Guide in English. Snacks and drinks included . 08:30 AM Departure to in the municipality of Schwangau, above the incorporated village of Hohenschwangau, which is also the location of Hohenschwangau Castle. Around 10:00 PM - Arrival at Neuschwanstein for a stop for around 4 Hours. You can reach the castle either on foot or by shuttle bus . (Shuttle Bus subject to weather conditions) Take time to go to the Marienbrücke (Closed during winter months) it ´s offers a breathtaking view of the fairytale castle, surrounded by forests and the Bavarian Alps. From the 90-meter-high bridge, visitors admire the magnificent architecture,the Pöllat waterfall in the foreground. This iconic view provides the perfect opportunity for unforgettable photos. Please calculate some extra walking & waiting time for this sight. Guided tour castle duration 35 min. After take Time own disposal for lunch, shopping.
After lunch we will go to make a short stopover of around 30 minutes in Oberammergau, to explore the picturesque village and look for beautiful souvenirs. Oberammergau is best known for its famous Passion Play, which is performed every ten years and tells the story of the last five days in the life of Jesus Christ. (Please note that in winter it will be closed )

5.00Very nice tour. Korney our guide gave us a lot of information about munich, Ludwig and german culture. The coach was new and even had a restroom inside. Also there was a little coffee bar in the bus with fruits, pretzels, cookies, etc. Both castles were amazing. I really recommend this tour. The beat part is the the view of the castle from the bridge, take your time there.

5.00The experience was great we enjoyed seeing both castles and the little town in between. The only thing we would suggest is cutting the first Castle visit time a little bit short so people have time to actually enjoy the grounds of the Linderhof Castle.

3.00Good tour, very comfortable bus and nice staff, the only downsides where the English translation of the guide, it was clear that the it was straight from German and it was hard to follow and had many mistakes. While the content was very interesting, I would have expected more preparation and proper translation of the tour narration . Also for whatever reason they make you buy the 3.50€ bus tickets up to Neuschwanstein, which is not a huge problem but just add additional time to an already tightly packed itinerary. Also, they give you 30 minutes in Oberammergau which make it more of a bathroom break than a proper stop to experience the village.
Great day out well worth it.
