In Winter, the opening of the Marienbrücke bridge depends on weather conditions and the castle administration.
During the colder months, we first visit Linderhof Palace in the morning, followed by Neuschwanstein Castle in the afternoon.
A moderate amount of walking is involved to reach the castles and inside Neuschwanstein there is approx. 350 steps
In order to use the lift at Neuschwanstein, guests are required to contact the castle directly.

Meet at 08.10AM house number Karlsplatz 21/Stachus next to the Buddy hotel. Departure 08:30AM from Munich and head towards the municipality of Schwangau, near the village of Hohenschwangau your main destination: Neuschwanstein Castle a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage. Guide Tour conducted in Englisch and Snacks and drinks are included . Around 10:00AM -Arrival im Neuschwanstein. You can reach the castle either on foot (about 30–40 minutes uphill walk ) or by shuttle Bus(subject to weather conditions). Explore King Ludwig II’s iconic fairy-tale castle and learn about its fascinating history and architecture. Recommended Sight: Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge- Closed during winter months) – Offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Neuschwanstein Castle, the Pöllat Waterfall, and the surrounding Bavarian Alps. This iconic view provides the perfect opportunity for unforgettable photos. Free time after the tour to make shopping and Enjoy lunch at your own leisure.
After lunch, we will make a short stop of approximately 30 minutes in the charming village of Oberammergau. You’ll have time to stroll through its picturesque streets and browse for beautiful souvenirs. Oberammergau is world-famous for its Passion Play, performed every ten years. This remarkable production dramatizes the last five days of Jesus Christ’s life and attracts visitors from all over the world. Please note that Oberammergau cannot be accessed from early December to the end of March due to weather conditions.

5.00Long day but perfectly catered to making sure you ride in comfort, eat great snacks, tour amazing castles, and learn Bavaria history along the way!!! Spring or Fall may be better than the dead of Winter but the countryside was beautiful with the snow!

5.00Hanae-san who speaks Japanese though I had no choice but to book due to only English tour availability. I was able to participate with peace of mind thanks to the presence of The tour was great because coffee and snacks were available on the bus and the bus was comfortable. The time allocation was perfect! Hanae-san (I'm sorry if I'm different) Thank you very much.

5.00We loved this tour and definitely worth the money. It was our first full day in Munich and our transportation didn’t come so we got to the tour right in time and missed breakfast. The snacks were a lifesaver for my kids! The bus driver, Vladr, made me coffee and was very warm and helpful. Coffee was offered after each stop, and a beer after the last one! Hanae was very knowledgeable about the area and what to do at each stop. I would definitely book another trip with these 2. I was traveling with my 19, 14, and 5 year old and loved the smaller size of the group.

5.00I would recommend the small group tour. Our guide Ursula was awesome and very knowledgeable. Only disappointing part was we went on a Sunday so the wood carving shops were not open. Well worth the money
