  This was one of the best tours I’ve taken! Our driver was great and our guide she was so sweet and informative. I always feel rushed in tours but with this tour we felt like we had enough time for without having to run. They provided snacks and drinks enough for the whole day trip and even brought me vegan snacks after I let them know I was vegan ahead of time. Highly recommend this trip! Especially with our driver and our guide both excellent!!!!!!

  Great tour to 2 beautiful castles. Bus was very comfortable. Snacks and drinks well received. Guide was very knowledgeable.

  If you’re looking for a tour that doubles as a scavenger hunt, look no further! From the very start, this trip was an absolute catastrophe. The tour operator kicked things off by providing a “meeting point” with all the specificity of a treasure map—no street number, just vibes. We reached out the night before for clarification and were met with.. no response. Naturally, we arrived a few minutes late, because apparently, psychic abilities are a prerequisite for this tour. When we finally got someone on the phone (after the meeting time), they waited for us—but not before treating us to a performance of “Customer Service: The Gaslight Edition.” I have screenshots proving there was no address, but instead of an apology, we got an argument and the warm, welcoming phrase: “just get on the bus!” Charming. When we arrived at the first castle, the directions to the entrance were as clear as mud. We wandered around in the rain, paid the entrance fee, and enjoyed the privilege of missing the actual tour because - surprise! - no one noticed we were gone. Not even our tour guide. We did manage to make it to the second castle, but spent the majority of the afternoon being terrified of being left behind again. The sights were beautiful, but our experience was overshadowed by the constant fear of getting lost and the existential question: “Where do we go now?” Other reviews raved about funny, engaging, informative tour guides. Jealous! “Joe” was less stand-up comedian” and more “sleep-inducing podcast.” He rambled on with a stream of facts so random and confusing, it felt like we were listening to the directions all over again. On the bright side, the bus snacks were solid. Nothing like stress and confusion to work up an appetite! At least that was reliable—unlike the rest of the experience. If you enjoy rain-soaked wandering, cryptic clues, and a tour guide who could bore you to an early death (much like King Ludwig), this is the adventure for you! Next time, I’ll be booking with someone who actually knows where their own tour starts and ends. Until then, I’ll be nursing my snack-fueled stress hangover and jealously scrolling through those glowing reviews. One star for the snacks. The rest? A royal mess.

  A childhood dream come true! Such a joy to visit and compare the two breathtaking castles. We also loved the drive including the opportunity to see Oberammergau. The coach was comfortable, snacks were appreciated, and the guide very knowledgeable and fun. Only negative might be difficult to overcome but as much as we enjoyed Neuschwanstein the logistics were challenging. There were so many different paths to take and transport choices to make (walk, horse cart, shuttle bus) for ascent/descent in such a big area that it sometimes took awhile for our entire group to reunite and continue with the guide. We had a map but if an itinerary indicating the tour order and approx meeting times could be added that would be helpful. We spent a fair amount of time looking for and waiting on other group members. Still our guide was extremely patient and we managed well enough so I certainly would not hesitate to recommend this memorable tour most highly. In a word- spectacular!
